Great when it came out, and still great to this day. The ai has issues, mainly just the difficulty settings are broken. That being said, it's in the top 3 warhammer games for most fans and whether you're favouring the base-building or the combat, this a good amount of it all.

good game.

This sorta tower defense, sorta rts, sorta epic mix of a game just got things right. I thought the idea of fighting back a 'liquid' would fail to be satisfying, i preferred the idea of enemies, but after playing this, i can just admit i was so wrong. it just works so well as thing to sink your time into... i've really enjoyed my time on this game and have tons left to discover and play, i'm hoping to 100% soon as i'm currently watching through the fourth installment as it's being made (on youtube).

As the title says, i've really, really wanted to enjoy this. i was hyped before its release, and watched so much gameplay when it finally got released (my pc had died), but after playing a while and seeing so much gameplay... i just feel dissappointed. the game was made well, and some details are astonishing, but i just can't forgive the dlc. there's just so much! it costs an absolute bomb too... i just wish the dlc was released wither much cheaper (some is free, i know), or just in smaller quantities.
left dissappointed, but i agree that the base game needs credit where credit's due.

after sinking hours into the ios version, i've got the pc version (pc master-race). it's just a bloody good game. it's got a severe difficulty, and I fear this could turn some away; If you stay however, you'll experience a masterpiece.
p.s. heard there's another game coming from the developers soon, very hyped.

This game has remained as one of my favourite games of all time. I feel it stands as a perfect mix of 'easy to get into' like skyrim, and 'easy to stay playing' like morrowind. it got the balance right for me. i'd certainly recommend getting the goty wehnever it's on sale. you'll certainly get plenty of playtime for what you pay.
as a lil side-note, i mayyyy have completed nearly every single quest in this game at least twice :b
