Honestly, didn't think I would love this game so much. But, after the years since its launch, it became an awesome game!

My recommendation? Buy, play, enjoy exploring the worlds!

Early Access Review
This game is what Diablo should have been, and it's still in EA.
It will probably get even better with some much needed updates.

My suggestion: get it and enjoy it.

I'll say this. There are performance issues, yes. But nothing so abysmal that you can't play at all.
I'm playing at 1440p myself, game is mostly stable at 40-50 FPS. Not perfect, mind you, but I've seen so much worse.

As for the MTX dilemma, sorry, but most of the items are obtainable in-game, and the game throws a lot of the currency at you, even early on. While I agree that the presence of MTX in single-player games is not something that we would want, nor likely need, these are not as scummy as in other games.

Also, I don't believe so many people batted an eye when Red orbs MTX were available in DMC5, or in RE4 remake. Just saying.

Overall, enjoyable game. Wait a bit if you must, for some patches, but a good game,

EDIT (after finishing the game): In my opinion, it's well worth the money. Really a great game which does the first one justice and then some. Also, the performance issues were mostly fixed with the first update (also used the GeForce Experience suggested profile).

TL;DR: Buy the game, enjoy, don't buy MTX (not needed at all).

Not a perfect game, but certainly close. After the issues are ironed out (which they're being), easily 10/10.

First of all, this is my first Souls-like game. I went in it, expecting to get murdered and I did.
But I got better, and I must say, this is a complete game, like few even came out these last years. After 2 playthroughs, I can't recommend this game enough.

And yes, there are some performance issues, and bugs. But they are few and far between. This is as close to a masterpiece as they come. 10/10 would get murdered again.

I'll keep the review short and sweet.
- Story is a 10/10 imo. Better than what I expected from this type of game.
- Combat is fun and definitely not a button masher. Give each hero like 2 hours and unlock a few skills, you'll see what I mean.
- Post-campaign content kinda continues the story.
- Missions are repetitive, I agree. However, other games such as this one are as well. That being said, I do hope more types of missions will be added eventually.
- Performance is shoddy and it tends to crash quite often, especially after the last update at the time of writing this review. (will change accordingly when it's fixed)

EDIT: Performance has now been fixed with update 1.3.0. Game is more stable than ever.

All in all, worth your money, even if you play only for the story. Solid 8/10.

Although it's riddled with bugs and inconsistencies, it's more XCOM content. Definitely not XCOM 2 level of quality but definitely a must play for all hardcore fans and, at a measly 10 euros too.

What a great game Telltale came up with. If you're a fan of the Borderlands franchise and love story driven games, you're gonna love this. A lot.

Yeah sure, maybe it doesn't have the billions of guns the original Borderlands has, but it still packs a good solid experience.
Even if you're not into Borderlands, you'll have fun with this game.

It also has that Borderlands trademark humor, though I totally expected Claptraps to pop out. xD

Still, Loader Bot says hi!

Even though this installment may not include any spooky horror stuff, it's still a great entry in my book.

First of all, this game stars Chris Redfield, who is more of an action hero than, say, Leon from the previous Resident Evil, who is more into scary stuff. The zombies in this game are like your regular everyday dead guys, similar in a way to Left 4 Dead's, only that they don't sprint that much, and they can shoot arrows and throw grenades (smart guys!). There are a few exceptions which may throw you off the first time yoy play, but nothing too hard really.

Second of all, it has great replayablity, especially if you play with a friend. There are many QTE moments that will either hurt your hand or make you feel a sense of accomplishment when completed (again, this is on the first playthrough).

The biggest con for this game is the AI partner. End of story. It's so bad, so don't ever give it a gun, unless you played the game a couple of times and can afford infinite ammo for it, then it gets better.

That should be it. My recommendation, get a friend, get 2 copies of RE5 and play on. You won't regret it.
