The Good:
Feels amazing to finally be able to buy and play this on Steam. I have this game for the 360 and PS3. I was hoping that it would backwards compatible for years on Xbox one but it never happened. So I wait years for a possible sequel, remake or port. WE FINALLY MADE IT. WE ARE HERE IN THE NOW.
It looks great and is still just as fun hackin wackin and smackin zombies with pompoms, ass and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chainsaw baby.
The only thing I am missing is the "Hey Mickey" when I power up the chainsaw. (i know they didn't get the license)
Everything still feels and stays true to the original. IT IS VERY VIBRANT COLOR WISE. It goes fantastic with the Govee Dreamview. Makes Mario Kart 8 rainbow road look like a joke.

The not so good:
I was kinda shook that there were zero graphics settings for this game. I was fully expecting to be able to tweak all the setting for maximum spirit and charisma. The only thing I could maxout was my screen and volume and sensitivity for my xbox controller. I am still playing now as I write this. So I will update this if I run into any other issues myself that hasn't been posted here or on the Lollipopchainsaw reddit. I am sure they may or may not get added on later. I am hoping that they do. There are some smaller issues for the current version of the game. When you have the button mini game(For Anything currently). There is a latency and they game won't respond until its about half way to failure. I am sure a patch can fix that. I am not bothered about the cut scenes not getting upgraded it would've been a nice touch honestly.

S-P-I-R-I-T (does a flippy backspin) Thad would be proud cause I landed that with an oreo.
If you played this game on console the only thing you will notice is the "Hey Mickey" Outside of that small thing it is still the same fun, edgy game. I am so happy it's finally here and I can retire my OG hardcopy and put it in a shadow box on my wall. I am sure patches and updates will make this game great. I am pretty also pretty excited to see what the modding community does with this masterpiece.

For Democracy.

I was super excited about this game and I still am. However I am riddled with an auto scrolling bug where when i go to select something after opening the menu a few times. This also happened in the beta. I posted about this in the HF discord. I don't think it was even addressed. I hope it gets figured out because the game was super fun until the bug happened.

I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the original on the Gamecube. The remake was what it felt like playing back in the day. Also don't forget to shoot the lake for that treasure. It's still there and worth the snag!

My light in the dark of the situation with this release right now. I have heard a lot of people having issues with this game. I currently have not been experience the issues most people have been bringing up until I hit about 2 hours into the game I hit an area with a ♥♥♥♥ load of stuff going on. I did have one crash at the beginning after I died the first time but none since that happened.

Outside of that. Let's dive in!

This game is actually really fun and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrifying. The story hits all the right notes for making you feel extremely uncomfortable. It really feels like this is what Dead Space should have been. I love the little easter eggs and nods I have found while playing. The story so far for me is great and I was uncomfortable about 20 minutes into the story and then anxiety started to trickle in not to far behind.

Who ever scored and who ever did the audio for this game did an amazing job. I really hope that teams gets the credit they deserve. The Soundtrack and Audio is phenomenal. Some of the best audio and atmospheric sounds and music I've hear from a horror game in a long time.

I forgot what it felt like to be scared playing a game. Being a film student for film/game scoring the music and audio atmosphere is what usually pulls me in along with story and then game play. This game has it it all. I recommend this game if you enjoy horror games.

The Story of this game is the best in the series this far. I have never had a Resident Evil Game pull my heart strings before but what an emotional rollercoaster. From fear to anxiety to sadness. The Team who made this nailed every element perfectly finally. Best Story in any game that I have played in a very long time. I am looking forward to the next game. The team did an outstanding and wonderful job.

Bring back the Acog for Jager and Bandit <3

this game has me hooked, it is different and quite relaxing. it's had some bugs but the devs were quick to fix them i recommend this game 120%

i have only played for 5 hours and I am hooked. holy crap its so good.
