It's fresh Armored Core. It's what you wanted the games to play like if you played any of the titles between AC1 through Last Raven, without the nonsense that made 4 or 5 tick. (And look, I know people like 4 and 5, and that they're even these people's favorite, but it's okay to be wrong, alright?)

This game plays like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dream. It sounds crisp and crunchy. It plays incredible on Keyboard and Mouse, and that's what I've always wanted for AC.

Had complaints about maintaining an auto lock on enemies? Guess what, you don't need to worry. That's a button you can simply ignore, because you're a better player than that. (Or I guess it's a nice advantage if you're still using a controller for a game that's just honestly made to be KB&M.

Levels are huge. Massive. Got the good details and whatnot. And if you're like me and played the oldest of the old titles, the campyness of things is absent, and the bad VOs are gone. This game is what I was waiting for.

Get outta' here with that "Armored Souls." You want S ranks in missions? You wanna fight in the arena? Guess what, your story mode repair kits ain't there for you. This game is as hardcore as you'll allow it to be, that's for certain. Fromsoft, you guys have been holding out on me for too long! But finally, AC6 is here, and i'll be damned if this ain't one of, if not the best titles.

(This review was written by someone who's played every title save for V and Verdict Day, as well as Formula Front. 3, and Silent Line are still some of my fondest memories, and my recommendation to start with if you want to go back, though 2, 2:AA, Nexus, and Last Raven are equally good pickups!)

You know what's great about this game? The people playing it. Nothing beats an experience where you've got a whole squad of soldiers, setting up tasks between each other, moving as units, and covering each and every person. Ya'know, like a squad. And I'm talking about good people too. Communicative. Funny. Brave.

Felt like a damn hero playing this game. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a game where you're going to find vocal people, playing good in a good damn game.

Quite possibly THE Idle game of all idle games. Why? It's got idle game mechanics, sure..

But if you know, you know. This game might as well be titled Legends of AlwaysOn. The game starts innocuous, simple, and polished. It'll remind you of another 2D sidescroller game, maybe.

The breadth of content, the progression, the systems in game.. If you're someone who's always looking to improve something, this game has you, hands down.

LavaFlame2 is an excellent example of a developer with integrity, decency, and care for their playerbase, and frankly, I support his work.

I want to like it, I really do. It's clean as hell, and has that YGO! online style polish.

Where the ♥♥♥♥ did Duel Monster's go? Where'd it go wrong? This game is an exemplary master class into how to turn a once fun card game, one of the few that were considered a "TCG" (That's a TRADING Card Game for you guys in the back who didn't ever hear it called that before.) and not just a "CCG" (The laughable cop-out changing "Trading" to "Collectable.") into a pile of garbage.

Also a complete master class into how to turn something into a one off ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest in every "duel" if you can even call them that anymore. Every starter deck seems to just have the ability to one-off turn 1 or 2 win. Why? Where's the fun in that?

----------------------------------

Anyways, let's start off with the cons: Power creep. You just can't play the game unless you're playing the latest cards. Several old archetypes of cards are technically available, but you can't get them except really luckily through legacy packs. (These packs seem to just hand out newer cards anyway..? Not really "Legacy" guys.)

I don't know ♥♥♥♥ about Links or Pendulum monsters, and I still despise the addition of XYZ and Synchro monsters. Good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck playing the game if you aren't taking full advantage of having your extra deck just be your supplemental hand, amirite lolol?

The structure decks that you can easily start off with? Might as well be god tier. I've fought the same six or seven decks, with zero variation except to add Raigeki and Monster Reborn to all of them. (BOTH LIMIT ONE INSTEAD OF BANNED, BY THE BY. Never in all of my days since the inception of this game have I ever seen Raigeki unbanned.)

So, if you're new to YGO! or an older player like me, you're done. You need to adapt, or you're going to get ruined. This just doesn't scream fun to me at all.

There's no way to turn back the clocks and play older decks either. You're limited to playing as modern as it gets, and the ban list isn't even comprehensive enough.

Get ready for essays, and turn one summonpaluzas when your opponent cycles half their deck because THAT'S WHAT EVER ARCHETYPE DOES APPARENTLY. This card is in the graveyard? Special summon, and if you do, put card from deck into hand! Oh, and now just do this again, with other similar effects, ALL THE TIME!

Seriously. At least Duel Links staggered the release of cards so that we could actually enjoy the cards of old. This format is designed to play a game in 2 to 3 minutes, if you even get the chance to. Most of the duels I've played have just gone by so quickly, before I can even read what my opponent's card effects do, and since every card is a Science Journal worth of text, I can't even be bothered to find out which card they have that's just going to LOL NEGATE any card I even try to play to even the field.

Don't play this if you aren't already dropping thousands on YGO! in real life. Seriously. You're going to have a bad time like me. Only thing I'm probably going to do with this game now is play the AI modes, and against my friends who are equally as disturbed where their old card game went.

Seriously. What the ♥♥♥♥.

Oh, and I guess the game plays nice. Can't fault the developers at all, the game is shiny and polished, and has nice effects and music. Anything but the actual card game is really well made, and sadly that's the pros.

Just wish YGO! wasn't so ass backwards broken nowadays.

As far as I can tell, this is exactly the product I wanted, and then there's more in there that I never knew I needed.

I'm a fan of NotD: Aftermath on Warcraft 3. A lot of people posting comments in here have played the map before, and know exactly why they're here. Lets talk about why everyone else should be here too.

This game is a rush. A tactical, beautiful rush. It's always been, since NotD, since TRS1, and now this installment. The skill tree could use work, maybe? But the real game is when you're down to earth (or Mars in this case.), on the ground level, being the operative. Do you work with the team? Is your role scouting and collecting supplies for a good holdout base? Are you pushing main objectives, or side objectives?

There are so many freedoms, while giving you the harsh reality at the same time; you're surrounded, ammo is limited, supplies need to be conserved, rationed, and distributed. This is all while there's a whole horde dropping around you from all sides.

The start of one's foray into this game is simple. Kick on the Overwatch mode for your marine to auto-target, grab some supplies here and there, and don't die for the love of everything. Oh, and try to not blow your whole squad up too. (FRIENDLY FIRE IS ON, BY THE BY.)

As you get better at the game, you'll learn to start telling Overwatch to take a hike, and you'll engage targets of opportunity as you see fit. As you understand damage types and what you can effectively bring down. What you can bring to your team.

That said, this is a holy grail of team games. If you make good friends, who build good squads together, you're gunna' go far. That's what I want from this game, and all games like it. I want that team aspect every time. All while we're trying to juggle supplies, mission, and our very lives.

It's got more learning curve than other games, but if you're used to "One hero" RTS like maps in Starcraft, Warcraft 3, or Starcraft 2, or MOBA like controls (DotA/2, HoN, LoL.) you're going to have a better time getting comfortable. Turn based top-down's are also okay in this regard, but you'll need to be ready to make quick decisions.

So that said, I suggest this game. I recommend it highly. It's team has done excellent work keeping a type of game alive that I found so dear, in a setting that's unique and fresh to their IP.

Minecraft in Space, is perhaps the easiest way to describe things. Though there are different survival needs (see: oxygen and hydrogen, as well as power, rather than food and whatnot.) it's what you'd always want if you wanted your creations to move.

Now with the economy update, there's no reason the everyman can't enjoy the game. Make things yourself, buy them from space stations in private worlds, or even pay off people in public servers to get what you want. The game is incredible, so as long as you can run it!

Incredible game, and not the first Ace Combat you should play by a longshot if you're going to hop into Hard mode right out of the gate.

Story has that weird blend of Japanese charm about it, but it's definitely passable, and does a good job in filling in the gaps and making the whole thing blend together.

I have never felt so pushed, and on edge so often. This is easily one, if not my favorite entry now, with AC5, AC04, and AC0. Definitely not a letdown like AC6, and the soundtrack was phenomenal.

Also, the references, ever subtle but present, if you're a fan of AC04 or AC5, you'll be able to easily point out little breadcrumbs left in there. I smiled all the way though, even at the end when Pilgrim 1 showed up. I knew I knew that voice from somewhere.

At the time of writing this, it's a shame that there's so many that are having trouble with the game due to constraints with what they're using. I was fortunate enough to have a PS4 controller laying around, so I didn't have a problem. Here's to hoping people will bring the score back up with the issues are fixed. This game was too good to have such a meh score on Steam.

One of the better idle clickers available, and free of costs. What could be better?

With everything in the game today, its a wonder that if you like PvE shooters, that you wouldn't already own Payday 2. This is the game to have if you're looking to start your collection of games, or a great game to blow a lot of money (especially during sales!) on if you're a fan.

So much of the player's loadout is customizable, and leaves plenty of options for loud, silent, or blitz-like play in any scenario.
