You can pet the shopkeeper, this objectively makes it better than 99% of AAA games

PSN requirement removed, as for the game itself, its fun, but you already know that.

I think I've finally gone from "noob" to "beginner."

Just need a couple more hours to test this theory.

Early Access Review
I built Stonehenge from ace combat on a desert planet at its north pole and had it fire projectiles at the sun non-stop for 20 in-planet days.

This game is a certified strangereal moment. 10/10

Now that I've finished the game several times on campaign I can finally give a proper review.

First off, this game is superb in pretty much every aspect that an arcade flight game can be. You can feel the difference in plane handling between planes and getting a new one feels great. Comparing to ace combat, the fights feel much more fast paced due to there being significantly more enemies. And once you unlock a plane with AOA as a countermeasure, you'll be pulling off full 180's faster than the poor bastard who was tailing you can reflect on his poor life decisions. And the ability to equip multiple sp. weapons is an excellent mechanic. Making it so that you dont feel completely useless based on your choice of plane.

Beating the campaign grants you access to 2 superplanes, one of which makes you feel like you are a true king on the battlefield as you wreak despair and destruction on those who oppose your iron fist. The other proves that no matter how powerful, your enemies cannot, in fact, outsmart boolet.

Conquest is very fun, but there isint much to say about it. It's essentially a rougelike that can go on for as long as you want, adding replayability.

My only complaint is that, while the railgun can one-shot ships,it usually doesn't because it almost always seems to hit a module on the ship instead, wasting all that precious damage.

I give it [MISSILE WARNING]/10

This game was a surprise to me. Before Ace Combat 7 I had never played any game remotely similar, and I got it out of pure boredom in order to try something new.

What I got was an absolutely incredible experience. I can’t quite pin it down but Ace Combat 7 has a kind of “charm” that very few other games have. The gameplay loop is well-fleshed out and enjoyable, and the game is easy enough so as to be able to complete most missions on your first try. And while some people complain about that lack of checkpoints, I think it enhances the gameplay in a way by actually making you feel proud of beating a particularly challenging level. Overall an amazing experience, 10/10.

The only game of its kind. A MMO FPS which features massive scale, combined-arms battles that make any other FPS title pale in comparison. And while it may not be perfect, it is the only game of this genre that's as polished as it is.

A tactical FPS game that pits you in a 5v5 as either an attacker or a defender. Each attacker and defender is unique and has a specific role they are capable of carrying out with their gadget. Fortifying the objective and attempting to breach it offer a dynamic game tide that you'll not find anywhere else. My only complaint is that many of the earlier operators' gadgets feel underwhelming compared to some of the newer ones.

Used to be a good game, but as it is now I simply cannot recommend it. It started as a fun, more tactical game, you could only equip a single weapon type, meaning that your robots job was unique with respect to the others on your team. Only four weapon types, SMG, Plasma, Railgun, and Nano Reconstructors. There was no auto-heal, meaning healers were actually valued. And there were no respawns in most gamemodes, causing players to think a bit before going in. (although the old plutonium reactor gamemode was pretty cool as well)Even the old 10-tiered matchmaking system, while it had its glaring issues, I now look back thinking it wasn't so bad.

Now, its a mindless gunfest of overpowered weapons, flyers are nowhere to be seen thanks to all the additions that counter them. Tiered amour is a thing of the past, and the tech tree is a shadow of its former self. Multiple weapon equips means that your robot can now theoretically do everything. Healers, while still useful, have a lot of their impact taken away by adding auto-heal, that and the fact that healers no longer have to be protected as they can have their own effective weapons.

While some might enjoy it, I simply can't with respect to what it used to be. For me, this game will forever be a cautionary tale of more features ≠ more fun.
