I think it's hard to recommend currently. The game has interesting ideas, but the runs are ridiculously imbalanced. Ship upgrades feel worthless, there needs to be better iframes for dodging because you can get full hp -> dead in the blink of an eye. You have to beeline as much damage as possible due to it being your sole defence against death. If you get poor upgrades early on, or bad rng, you can't even survive long enough to course correct. It's very, very frustrating :((Also having an enemy ship that eats xp spawn when the game starts is brutal for newer players)

This was a super charming little game! A must play if you've just bought a steam deck, before you do anything else ^^;
