I replayed this legendary game (for me) after 10 years - I used the mods "Bearer of The Curse Edition" and "DS2LightningEngine" and I strongly recommend them

Most likely, this is my last playthrough. Even though I feel nostalgia, we must look at things realistically and leave this game in our memories. Despite some problems, the game is still fun, especially with the mods mentioned. However, it is the weakest part of the series. They tried to copy Miyazaki’s success, but they did not have enough money or will to make it better.

Aaaaaand give my subjective pros and cons 0___0:
Pros:
* Atmosphere: The game has a strong atmosphere like the first and third parts.
* Music: The music in the hub is magical and makes you stop to enjoy the view.
* Locations: The locations, especially in the DLC, are well designed (except for the forest of giants).
Cons:
* The transitions between locations are long and clumsy. They looked old even when the game was released;
* Crowds of Homeless People in the Original;
* ADAPTABILITY!!!! (those who know, know);

Dredge is a rather unusual combination of a fisherman simulator and Cthulhu aesthetics. I’m not a fan of such games, but I liked it—it plays especially well on a Steam Deck. In the last DLC, of course, the game starts to drag a little, but you don’t have enough time to reach the point where it becomes tiresome. The music and atmosphere are amazing, and the style is also well-chosen. Best of luck to the developer studio.

Давно я не видел такого сюжета в играх - закрученый, интересный и с такими неожиданными поворотами, что порой у тебя перехватывает дыхание. За каждого персонажа переживаешь, проникаешься их судьбами и характерами, за каждого члена персонала готов порвать кого угодно. Геймплей же продуман до мелочей, что не может не радовать. Стелс, рекрутизация - это все настолько интересно, что порой теряешь счет времени Так как я впервые познакомился с этой серией игр, для меня она стала очень приятной неожиданностью, и хотелось бы, чтобы все игроделы брали пример с этой игры.
