Recommend for the price, a steal at lower prices


This is a really solid dungeon exploring game with a solid shopkeeper mechanic on it as well. The inventory management in the dungeon can become a puzzle game as well if you enjoy min/maxing every trip and get some lucky drops. There isn't as much to purchase to improve my store as I would like which leads to no real incentive to play after the ending other than just getting a high gold total, but overall a pretty fun relaxing game (I played on hard the recommended difficulty)

The combat felt really static like for me at first, but it just took some time for me to get used to it and overall I'm really enjoying the combat, I've been using the greatsword and bow combo, greatsword for big upfront damage and bow if i feel like playing it a bit safe. The greatsword at the time of writing this is easy mode imo cause you can use well timed invulnerable frames to just avoid all boss damage while causing massive damage.

I really enjoy that if you want to maximize every trip that the inventory management basically becomes a puzzle game since some of the items have "buffs" on them I guess is the best way to put it.

The storefront is kind of the biggest I guess disappointment so far, but I guess that's just cause it's kind of realistic. It's just find the right purchase through a blind guess then wait on purchase and restock slot (realistic in waiting and restocking) no real experimentation with it I guess, but it does work and if you stock up a couple dungeon dives worth of items or one really lucky one with getting the items that have the buff of send stuff home, you can make a large sum of money in just the one day, which I do repeatedly and then spend that to upgrade weapons and have more fun in the next dive.
