After 3000+ hours across systems, I would recommend. It's a very unique game with a very high skill ceiling. I would also highly recommend putting Quick Chat Only as your chat option. Even though as a whole I recommend, there are plenty of negatives...

Negatives:
1. Toxicity - In every rank, when you get close to ranking up, there is some of the worst toxicity I've found in any game because the game pretty much only has text chat. When games do this, everyone is toxic to everyone as soon as games start to not go your way or you make a mistake. Putting it to Quick Chat Only fixes this because those people are typing into a void.
2. Challenges - The in game challenge system is super weak, and you get a lot of items you won't ever use, that are in chests that you have to open 1 at a time. If you could bulk open, or bulk trade up then it wouldn't be as bad.
3. Blueprints - They went the direction where instead of unlocking cool items, you unlock blueprints of cool items, and then need real money to turn into a real item. If they had a F2P currency that you could use other than real money, this would be fine, but in reality you end up with thousands of blue prints that you can trade up(one at a time), and you really will only ever want like 1 item from them. I wish there was a way they wouldn't clutter your inventory just to give you all the options till you buy one.
4. Cars don't matter - There are tons of cars, but now there are only like 5 hit boxes. Makes your car selection really not matter because the car selection is largely irrelevant.
5. Game modes - They always release short time game modes that are largely targeting the casual player, but usually don't live beyond those events. Don't get me wrong, some are fun, but they haven't released any new permanent Extra Modes in years. Also the permanent Extra Modes are only ranked, so casual players never play them. And for the ranked players, there are never any events for them so real skilled players just avoid them. Leads to pretty long queue times in mode like Dropshot, and once you get to the top, there are only a few people playing so you get wild rank spreads.

All in all I still play the game a lot, but the extra features in the game are a little lack luster for being owned by Epic.

This is a great addition to the deckbuilder genre! It's an interesting take on the usual deckbuilder because it kinda combines with a turn based tactics style for the combat. I also really like that there are a number of ways to progress to the bosses so it doesn't always have to be combat heavy. I would say it's a great concept, and I'll be looking forward to more updates and features in the future!

This is an excellent game to use with your D&D campaign. It's simple to use, and covers all the basics you need for a grid based map. Also the dev does frequent updates to fix issues and add new features. You definitely can't go wrong for the price!

Yeah. So fun. Do you like MTG? Do you like Hearthstone? Doesn't matter cause it isn't like those. If you like Deckbuilding games and playing a game for a long time, you will like it
