All of the hype made this mediocre game a huge disappointment.

There are way too many things to list here that make this impossible to even call a game.

But here's a few:

The icon clutter is absurd. The biggest and brightest things on your screen are the objective markers. They're so big and so bright that they actively prevent you from seeing the opposing force when you're moving up to the point.

There's a deployable turret one of the operators has access to. Sometime's it'll blow up immediately after putting it down, with no discernable reason.

I'm no expert, but hitboxes feel really weird. That said, I'm not interested in putting in the hours in order to sus out what exactly is wrong, if anything.

I'm giving this a big ol' 4/10, because it's really pretty and it's technically functional. Plus, militarizing robot dogs is cool as long as it only happens in video games.

This game needs a lot of filling out and tweaking to be worth the pricetag. The combat AI is especially rough right now. For example, dwarves have no target prioritization when it comes to combat and will keep hitting that monster nest instead of the six mobs he's fully capable of defeating if he didn't ignore the six mobs to hit the monster nest.

Monster nests will also spawn creatures indefinitely once destroyed, so if you leave them alone for a couple of hours of gameplay and run into them again, they'll have a stack of mobs so large they one-hit every dwarf in your mountainhome.

I dig the premise and the game is off to a promising start, but I don't recommend it at this time.
