Since this game is an open beta or demo or whatever the term is, I think it's actually kinda important to do a review. The first game was awesome, but felt lacking in some departments. One of which being the open combat thing. I think this game does it slightly better, but it feels mostly the same. I'm on the most recent version, which as per this review is 1.1.1.

The enemies feel very.. suicidal. Not nearly as much as the first one, where the entirety of the map would rush you down an alleyway into a small minefield and a machine gun, but still very. Unarmed enemies do tend to hang back, but I have yet to see them pick up dropped guns like they did in the first game (according to a tool tip at least). It's to the point where whenever you knock a guy out and he gets back up once woken up, he ignores the fully loaded 12 gauge next to him and starts wandering around alone in the dark. They run away (sometimes) when they see you or hear gunshots, but if they enter a building they just stand there and beg instead of looking for alternate exits. Guards seem slightly more reluctant to rush into whatever warehouse you cut the lights out for and hide in, but they still hyper focus on one specific entrance/exit and ignore everything else, making it stupid easier to go through a different exit and gun them all down in 1 burst from your gun of choice.

Speaking of your gun of choice, there are a lot to choose from, but they don't all feel useful. Sure, you could add a hyper-customized AR-15 with every attachment possible to your stealth load out, but it will still alert everyone nearby. At least there's now a second viable stealth handgun, being the new lil Mk5 or whatever, which is a semi-automatic handgun that is decently quiet once you add a threaded barrel and suppressor. The concealabillity or however it's spelled stuff gives me hope that there will be more undercover-espionage style stuff in the campaign, which would be neat.

Not really a point or anything related to the game, but it does make you feel cool. Knocking out lights and then punching guys in the dark feels like you're batman, and that's always fun.

Amorous is the game of a lifetime. It's lessons and morals are enough to make a philosopher learn a thing or two. It's story and visuals are enough to make a grown man cry. It brings tears to my eyes to see the sheer beauty that is this game, a true must play experience. This game is truly, TRULY, life changing. I cannot help but recommend this game to anyone and everyone, old grandmas, dads, children. If you have but an hour, I recommend playing this game and going down the Seth quest line. It's gameplay is truly revolutionary, and even the most experienced RPGers will be bewildered by it's sheer complexity. If you think games such as Skyrim and New Vegas had in depth characters, wait till you play this gem. Play this game, for your own sake.

Best splinter cell game. From the levels, to the story, to the gameplay. I didn't know you could climb up walls in narrow hallways and sit there like a damn spider monkey until I had like 30 hours. Hint: Walk up to a wall and press the jump button. Honestly, just get it. I don't know what else to say. The controls can be a bit surprising if you're not used to older games, but after, like, a quarter through the first level you're used to them.

Yes or no is too.. certain for this game. Despite what it says, I have 2-3 hours on this game, it's just that I had to go into offline mode. I have finished this game, it was upsetting. It's a good game and good idea, don't get me wrong, but it's execution is flawed. Every control is bound to the same key. For some reason, in the later half of the game almost every enemy has either a shield that kills you if you shoot them in the back, an instant kill gun -- I do mean instant-- or both. The good news is: if you hide behind something you can still shoot them since they can't see you. The story is kinda funny, like it's supposed to be. I had a good few chuckles during it. One BIG thing I noticed is that the first few beats don't count. Only the ones after, like, 2 beats. Overall, if you have an extra few bucks and you're looking to play a rhythm based spy-thriller with kind of funny dialogue and you're willing to go through the problems with the game, get it. But, I do not recommend playing this game if you're just looking for a cheap game. However, just play the free demo if you're looking for a completely accurate review.

Makes the early game really easy. Like, unreasonably easy. If you have trouble with the early game, this is absolutely worth it. Just get it, if you don't, but don't like the early game cause it takes too long to get to the juicy stuff, get this. Honestly, it's just worth it. Unless you breeze through the early game easily like a speedrunner, not really worth it then.
