Among one of the best AvP games. The facehugger makes me ♥♥♥♥ a brick in the middle of the night. It has a shrill shriek when it latches on and if it's out of nowhere my ghost jumps out of my skin. I do have a gripe... For as much close encounters as there are in this game... The as seen in the movies no stock shotgun is noticeably missing... All the other guns made the game though. Pulse rifle, smartgun, flamethrower, pistol ect...

Most of the Marine Campaign needs night vision top make it through it. Switching from radar tracker to night vision to combat the enemies is cool.

Movement is very fast in this game.

An absolute treasure. Allied Corps is a rewarding experience. It has some difficulty. However if you know what you are doing it gets easier to manage. Infantry does not suck. You just have to cover them with artillery, and slowly rank them up. Once you have three star Rangers you can do some serious damage. Once you level up Rangers, and Airborne they shred up the fortifications... Hell... I ambushed a Tiger 1 with Rangers in the mountains, and it took 7 damage off of it. I was excited as hell. So no Infantry does not suck. Only the player can suck. The key to getting better at this game is variety. Don't use the same units. Mix it up. Understand strengths and weaknesses.

Allied Tanks are infantry support, and do massive damage to infantry, but are brittle against German tanks. So use artillery and anti-tank. My Rangers were Tank destroyers. I tamed the big cats with infantry. If you can use the terrain, air force, and artillery to your advantage the Big Cats can't hurt you.... As bad lol. You'll get scratched, but you'll persevere.

The Calliope is really good. Trust me on this one. Level up an artillery gun to three star. Upgrade it to Calliope, and it will shred up Axis Infantry. You don't want to lose units. You want experienced war heroes. I can't recommend experienced Rangers enough. They are savage if you level them up. An easy way to do it is to use Engineers for a while. Clear forts, minefields, and gain some experience. Than upgrade to Rangers.

Allied Corps is hella fun, and I highly recommend the Grand Campaigns for Allied Corps. They are harder than this addon, but very rewarding. The Allied DLC's are hours and hours of fun. Thank you Slitherine for the memories.

Panzer Corps is a turn based stratedgy game that plays you through scenerios, and actual battles of WW2. The main game Panzer Corps Wehrmacht starts you off fighting Poland, concuring the Low countries, France, to Operration Barbarossa, and beyond. The difficulty is good, and so is the replay value. I absolutely love this game, and don't see myself putting it away any time soon. I will be fond of it for many years to come.

There are addons, that allow you to play as the Allies. There is online multiplayer as well if you are into that sort of thing.

My favorite addon is the Allied Corps. Fighting the Germans from The Kasserine all the way to the Rhine was a blast. There are many different units, and the game likes variety. So many different artillery, unit types, and tanks. It's fun to learn about them all. This game taught me more about WW2 battles than school. lol.

CS:GO Review
This has been a long time coming. I swore I would review CS:GO if I ever broke out of silver hell, and I did. After a grueling 8 or 9 months of grinding about 7 to 10 competitive matches a day. I didn't do it entirely alone. After I solo qued for a while I found a cool click of SEMS, and we qued our way out of the silver ranks. What agony it was to escape from Silver. I deranked from SEM to SE 15 times just trying to get my Nova.

So what is CS:GO? Brevity is the soul of a story, so to put it simply it's a 5 v 5 competitive game with Terrorist, and Counter Terrorist fighting over bomb sites.

Is the game good? Yes. Highly addicting in my opinion. Honing your skills, of cross-hair placement, aim, player movement, nades, strats, communication, and game sense is a real challange. When you rank up, and see how far you come it drives you to push more. This makes the gameplay super addicting. On top of there being a social aspect through teamwork. In fact I caution you the player to have some other sort of hobby, or hell even get a girlfriend, so you don't totally neckbeard over this addicting game. You will need time away, and venting time from losing streaks, toxicity, and pure fustration.

Hacking is a bit of a problem. Rage toggles are real in this game. If you one up a team too much sometimes a player will start wall hacking, and aim toggling. During steam sales the hackers buy the game for cheap, and blatantly hack. You can get your account a prime status with your phone number which minimizes the chance you will run into a hacker, but people still do wall in prime. Smurfs all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place. Usually the team with the better smurf wins. Smurfing is so common that in my opinion the ranks even lose their meaning.

Game has cool knife, and gun skins. It's a bit of a money farm for valve.

Over all the negitive ♥♥♥♥ I can say about this game I still recommend it. It's the most popular E-Sport, and the pro scene is entertaining to watch. It's easy to make friends over this game, and Comp is fun if you have the drive to win no matter the cost on your mental well being.

Ranking out of silver wasn't easy. But I can say I did it.

Early Access Review
So far, so good! I get to practice my aim with the same sensitivity settings as CS:GO, and another game I play (Dino D-Day) This aim game is fun! I also like how it loads quickly making it a tad more convienent on the fly then waiting for my CS:GO training maps to upload. <3

Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ what can I say...

Best damn WWII game I ever played period. As of now I have 50 hours, and have completed the game on Authentic the hardest difficulty. (The closest you can get to strapping on a parachute, and jumping in Normandy itself lol) If I ever have children, and they are of the prerogative to play video games this is the ♥♥♥♥ I'd like them to play. Not mindless run, and gun Cod, or the SJW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of today. Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood puts the player in a Sargent's position. You are in command of a fire team which lays suppression, and an assualt team which flanks. You must play this game tactically to win. Enemies have pinpoint accuracy which means you must use cover, and suppresion to your advantage. Timing, and positioning is everything. You have an overview mode which allows you to see enemy positions to plan your movements, and assualt.

Beautiful orchestral soundtrack which gives a vibe of patriotism, honor, valour, and adventure in a time of war. Fun tactical gameplay that relies on strategy. The game does hinder your aim, by nerfing it with some shifting making it hard to hit enemies. Although with practice I never had a problem nailing nazis from a distance with the Garand, or spraying them down with a B.A.R, or Thompson.

Which brings me to the weapons. I love the sounds. I love how beefy the Garand sounds. I love spraying the Thompson. It sounds mean as hell. Brothers in Arms did the American armament justice in this game. However the German weapons are in fact better. The kar98 has a really good sight picture, and is very accurate. The Mp40 is the best SMG in the game. The STG44 ( Sturmgewehr 44 ) is easily the best gun in the game. You will find that the firepower, and accuracy of the STG 44 will soften enemy positions allowing you to make more bold power moves on the enemy. However late into the game there will be FG 42 machine guns even with scopes. And the scoped FG 42 is perhaps the best gun in the game. I give it to the St44 though for the ammo capacity over the FG 42. Still those guns are the best.

The German war machine throws everything at you, and the kitchen sink. As a U.S Paratrooper in the 101st you will land behind enemy lines on D-Day. You will come across Wehrmacht (Heer Soldiers) Waffen SS, Fallschirmjäger, Stugs, Panzers, Tiger Tanks, entrenched machine gun positions, motar teams firing in your direction, Halftracks with mounted machine guns maneuvering to your flank. 88's firing artillery at you. You must find your enemy, fix their position, and flank them to win. Standing your ground, and trading lead all day is not an option. In some cases enemy motars will fix your positions. You must use your head, and be fast.

There is so much enjoyment to be had from this game. The playstyle I developed was to supress, and fix enemies fast, hitting them hard with the assualt team up close while I try to flank. On authentic difficulty the key is to listen to your battle-buddies because they will indicate emeny suppression. "They're scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥! / We got em pinned! ect" Because in authentic there are no suppresion indicators like in normal or easy modes.

Did I mention you command a Stuart tank, a Sherman, and a Hellcat tank destoyer in certian levels? Telling your tank where to go, and who to attack is a challenge in itself. 88's, anti tank guns, and German infantry with panzerfäust pose a threat.

This game is a classic, and you unlock history facts, and extras by completing missions. You get a feel of brotherhood by the character personalities in the story. ( I have played all three games of the BiA franchise) I must say out of all three games this one is my favorite. I've learned more about World War II Combat from this game then I ever did at school.

Arcade games that are hard, and require repetition for skill are my cup of tea. On authentic the game punishes you by not including save points. So you must complete an entire mission flawlessly. A daunting, and challenging task. They don't make video games like they used to back in the day. But that is what I like about this game. Strategy, and skill is required.

All this to say I reccomend this game. But not to those expecting a mindless run, and gun like Cod. If you want a challenge, and a strategic, historical fps this game is for you. But if you want to mindlessly run around and spray while streaming, and drinking a starbuck coffee then this game is not for you son.

I'll be fond of this game for many years to come... It's perhaps even one of my favorite video games of all time as of now. I love it. And that will conclude my review. Show this game some love it deserves it.

I bought this game because of the resemblance of Sarges Hero's of the N64 which I have fond memories of. This game is one of the best third person shooters on steam. The graphics are super polished, the gameplay is super fun, and the only thing negative I have to say is the community is a bit small. However you only need 10 players for a full game. Let's talk about gameplay.

There are different game modes. Some are like a game within a game lol. In one map you are in a foozball table playing a game of soccer while shooting eachother. In another game mode you are trying to summon a T-Rex by melting ice with your flame thrower. The guns are pretty cool too. M16, Sniper, Shotgun, Bazooka, you know... The classic All American Army arsenal. The game is the typical Army battle of green vs tan soldiers.

Do I reccomend? Absoluetly.

Great game, See you on the battlefield soldier!

Bought as soon as I heard it was out! Just got done beating the first level. Damn! I am so satisfied. This PC port is so smooth, and the precision of the mouse makes it such a better experiance than the analog stick on the N64. The game was a blast on the N64, but this port delivers a better experince. Online multiplayer!!!!! ~ I checked out the servers, and had fun in multiplayer.

As far as first person shooters go. This is one of the best of all time. 90's kids often talk about Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and last but definately not least. Turok 2 Seeds of Evil. The N64 version boasted of computer AI "unpredictable enemy movements" and it was noticable at the time. Enemies are tough, and they take cover. The arsenal of weapons in this game will keep you entertained as well. How good are the guns? Better than borderlands.

I will admit a bias. I am a fan of Turok son of stone, collected the comics, and played the N64 games. I'm just so stoked that this game is remasterd. If you're in the market for a good FPS with a good campain, at a challenging difficulty this is the game for you. One last thing.... I instantly noticed that the objectives are marked by an exclamation point "!" This port holds your hand unlike the N64 version, but to be honest I like it! Heck I will probably beat this game. "Never beat it on the N64."

Good game! Buy!
