Probably going to refund, looks like a great farming game by the reviews but the character is whining every 30 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seconds about being a pathetic drunk loser and it makes the game unplayable.

Bloob
Looks like a solid idler with a *tiny* bit of active gameplay mixed in. Reviews and store made it seem like more active gameplay but it's pretty much a fully idle game.
Pathing system is very cool & works well.
Rips RS a lot more than necessary, like only has exact rs skills and nothing else. Dev wasn't creative they just copied.
Bloob doesn't actually use or wear any equipment visually, which is a bit lame.
Takes more resources than it should, but it's a fine game.

MMO Nomad with 1 billion games played here
For a 9x9 game, this is very well done, excellent base systems with rs-esque intermingling crafting systems and incremental gains.

Unfortunately, there are too many issues to recommend. One developer is active & intelligent, but that's where it ends. Toxic discord mods with weird power issues, and a community in denial about most of the game's issues.

They have confirmed that full loot non consentual pvp is an intended game mechanic, even though the vast majority of the playerbase dislikes it.

Skills are extremely unbalanced, and there is very limited content - even for an indie MMO. Walking around in the game is an absolute chore, and even with coffee farming you're looking at 20-40% of your ingame time spent simply waking around.

The map, cities, gathering nodes, npc's, enviornment, quests, background - these do not exist. The game *feels* like an alpha.

Combat is extremely clunky, and stamina kiting mechanics make the future look bleak for game balance.

tl;dr a super raw 2d game that mostly just cloned runescape. If you REALLY like runescape and tried all of the alternatives, it's worth a shot while free.

Functional co-op via steamshare feels like good ol gaming days

Background: Multiple maxed RS accs over 18 years & many hours of fun

Brighter Shores was meant to be great, but currently is barely a game.
Not an MMO
Literally nothing to do, skills don't intertwine, quests suck, very linear game
Combat is GIGA boring, worse than RS on launch and it improved loads.
Grind sim for no reason

Basically palia... looks good and there's some gathering but extremely shallow and pointless.
Zones are a weird choice.

It's free, so normally I'd Recommend and leave this bad review but I simply can't sit here and read MMORPG three times on the store page when there isn't even chat, let alone anything else that makes an MMO.

tl;dr - good game but grind based ranking & unfiltered ranked games are always trash unless full premade. No solos = trash game tbh.

Pros - semi fresh idea, plays well, looks and sounds good and has an interesting variety of characters already

Cons - no solos

edit after playing more - bad map design, serious balance issues, lack of role diversity, lack of build diversity, low skill ceiling, and worst of all - no solos. 3/4 of the map is fall death area, so in addition to the horrid verticality choices leads to extremely unfun battles.
Ranking system is grind based, no placements

Gets worse the more I play it, but still plenty of potential.

Devs had actual brain for a moment to limit queue sizes in high MMR but instantly caved to timmy & jimmy's reddit comments, sad to see.
