The Gospel, or Good News, is a message of hope and salvation. We have all made mistakes and engaged in immoral acts, but God's desire is to bring us back into fellowship with him so that we are not lost. In his great love for us, God came to earth in human form and paid the price for our sins, something we could never do on our own because we cannot stop sinning. This act of love involved living a perfectly righteous life, resisting temptation, and enduring suffering in order to make amends for us. All that is asked of us in return is genuine desire for God, placing our trust in Jesus, and allowing the Holy Spirit to adopt us as God's children and help us overcome sin. Our salvation does not come from proving ourselves, but from having faith in God and receiving his abundant grace! This invitation extends to you as well!
