Best sonic game in years. Not sure I like the rogue like bs slapped on top though. Procedural generation sometimes makes it feel like all you can do is smack into a wall or end your perfect streak. The end of level scoring is esoteric at best. One time I landed only perfects and got a D. Other times I was doing crap and got an A. Oh and this game's whole presentation screams soyjack so if you're into amiibos you'll LOVE this.

12 hours in still shoit ful of hack and troll

bro I've got 5k~ hours and I've just watched this game get worse and worse. It's designed for people with ADD, and the story is just painful. Maybe the worst writing I've seen in a game. Not even because it's nonsensical. It's just so slow and boring. I'm an hour and a half into the latest expansion, and it's been one long unskippable dialogue scene. Without cinematic camera, or background music, or anything. Just npcs standing in a spot, and talking. I have watched an entire movie on netflix, while the npcs have been yapping. Just occasionally walking to the indicated spots or interacting with another npc I need to talk to. This is pain. This is painful. I'm about ready to uninstall gw2 for the first time since it came out in 2012. This is just sad compared to how exciting and bombastic Path of Fire and Heart of Thorns were from start to end.

At some point they unbanned dps tracking addons. So you can even be flamed OUTSIDE of raids. Guys not everyone needs to have an optimal build. Games are about fun. That doesn't apply to me btw. Shout warrior supremacy. Y'all can get on my level. 30kdps and haven't updated my build in 5+ years. Cope and seethe. Game's not hard you're not special for having high dps. Go hide under mommy's blouse because I AM NEVER CHANGING MY BUILD

Tentatively I'll change my review to positive because the developers promised to work on the water system. And it's genuinely the only fault I can find in the game.

It's definitely not an early access scam with how fast they're providing updates. If nothing else the team is passionate! And Water is not as punishing as I thought due to a visual glitch. It turns out the count down timer to water death does not update without reloading. So a day of water goes further than I initially thought.

I will say that you'll enjoy this game if you're a fan of 1984. Because the setting is NEARLY identical. With some biotech horror thrown in.

It's Space Marine 1 but with more stuff. Kinda cool. Feels like an Xbox original from the 360 era.

Narrator is an asmr thot. Characters are too horny. Writers probably molest dogs.

Good if you miss the old days of mobas. Wish more releases like this came out more often.

Un-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ believable that this is what we got. It doesn't even improve things from the first game. Its a carbon copy of the first game, but now with C4, companions, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5 nights at freddies sfx for the cannibals.

Why does my survival manual have pages dedicated to mounting human skulls. Why does my torch stay lit in my inventory? Why is the forest floor grassy? Why is the sound trick all 80s synthy without the radio around? In 2026.

The first game had a naturalistic and quiet soundtrack that could hardly be noticed. The punchy synth music was from the music player. Here it's just... everywhere. And this is maybe the least scary horror game I've ever played.

Not to mention the characters look awful. Crysis came out in 2007 and was made by a studio about the same size as this one. Why tf do the characters look worse than a 2007 game? Hell I'd say Kelvin looks more soulless than some half life 2 npcs.

Seriously what the hell went wrong here? Is it the same dev? Did the rights get sold or some ♥♥♥♥? I want my 42 minutes back.
