As much as i like the game(it is kinda good, specially if you like the genre). I cannot recommend this to anyone out there, steam servers get capped HARD, there is no bankshare between your characters, most of the cash shop items are untradable(they even have their own section on the in game market) but nothing shows up since they are untradable in the first place when there's no reason at all to make those items bound to account.
We have no access to world bosses, which would greatly help to farm for tags and brooches(that way they can sell more of those on the cash shop).
And to top it off, events are a joke, brooch punches, which should be easy to attain are rarely given, it would take you 5 months to make a farmable costume to even have the ability to equip a full set of brooches, so you either buy a costume from cash shop, or buy brooch punches to open the slots on costumes you get ingame.

Game is great, really bad management, this server is doomed since the dev/publisher doesn't seem to care AT ALL to player/server problems.

Solid improve from the first game, port has a bit of issues when you're trying to match along with specific friends, but other than that, expeditions were a really nice addition for those who likes to multiplayer in this kind of game without taking completely the fun and challenge, story is a big fat 10, boss fights are also fun with the new counter system, took me 65 hours to beat the normal game getting all the secrets from the normal difficulty, now the replayability kicks in, with new stuff to farm like soul cores and scrolls, totally worth even at full price, port runs smoothly and is very clean and optimized for PCs, well played koei

So, i'll start by saying the game has a pretty solid gameplay, with each character having their own kits, which is kinda cool, stage design gets old fast, but that's not an issue, since it's a sidescroller 2d that's to be expected.
Each character is voiced by multiple VA's, again it's a pretty neat feature, even if it has no impact on gameplay, it's still nice to have it as an option.
As far as gameplay goes, the game presents you with multiple ways of getting around the stages, some easier with some characters, some only available to other characters, which promotes multiplayer, if you want to collect all the chests on a stage.
Now here's the first problem i found(and many others as i could see), there seem to be having a problem with the game netcode(that's my bet since it only happens at multiplayer), there are MASSIVE frame rate drops when you plaay with multiple ppl, especially when the effects start pilling up.
They rolled an update not even 24h in and said to address some of it(i still couldn't test multiplayer after the patch)
But only by that fast response in patching up the game i can see a bright future for this port.
Other than that is the usual problems a port brings, it's definetly not a perfect product, but it's fun as hell, and i sure hope those framerate drops gets addressed soon(i believe it will, but only time will tell)

edit: they rolled an update patch that seem to have fixed the framerate drop issues, so yeah +1 for this game, totally worth it

So, as someone who loves couch games, i gotta say i was kinda impressed with this game, i got it about a week before its official launch, while it still was in its early access days and i was just blown away by how much fun i had while playing with some friends, game mechanics are simple and you can jump right into it and start playing "by ear", so it's really easy, even for those not used to the genre, ther's a lot of bad reviews going on because right when it launched steamworks API had troubles that prevented the game from starting/matchmaking, that's unfair to the game, because it was something that wasn't the devs fault, and they gave a workaround in roughly 10 hours by patching the game...

And lets be honest, not even some triple A games come up with patches that fast when their launches start messy, this game gets a 10 out of 10 for fun aspect, if anything, the game gets easier the more you play, and that could be seen as a problem, but from what i could see, it made me very satisfied getting this game.

Game has a wide variety of things to offer, a boatload of quests, a fantastic lore that takes a bit of time until it really kicks off, but if you endure the first 30~40 levels you are in for a big story, and a massive, MASSIVE amount of quests, that being said the Global Cooldown System can be a bit tedious, but once you start getting your off gcd to weave in between your skill the combat gets awesome, it can take you quit a bit to "play catch up" to endgame, but imho it is well worth it...
