One of the best seven hours I've spent playing a game. Also, you can't fall off the ledges. Not sure if that would be a spoiler or not, but I spent a good hour being very careful and stressed in the narrow areas, just to find out you can't fall.

If you are thinking about buying Terraria, this is some of the main things it has to offer:
-Randomly generated worlds to explore, with hidden loot and a lot to do
-Customisable characters, that can carry their stuff between worlds
-Many different ways to play, with different weapons and armor
-23 NPCs that can move into houses, and do different things, such as giving advice, selling items, or changing your hairstyle.
-15 different major bosses, all with unique attack patterns and loot.
There are also several smaller things that allows players to make their characters and worlds unique.
-Furniture and other decorations to make your house feel more like a home.
-Vanity clothing and assessories to give your character personallity.
-Many different blocks to use to make whatever you want.
I could keep going on things that this game has, but these are the things I like the most about the game. Playing with friends makes the game a lot more fun, but playing alone is also pretty great.
However, if you are looking for something purely sandbox, this game may not be the best option. There is no creative mode naturally in the game, and enemies spawn quite often. But if you like action and building, this is definitally something you would want to try out.
