I am a die hard Subnautica fun, but Below Zero feels like it takes itself way seriously, the story is, well it exists, that feeling of isolation is gone, Sector Zero is tiny compared to the original. In the original I have close 1,500 hours (Around 1,300ish before launch in the early access period), in Below Zero OVER IT'S FULL EARLY ACCESS PERIOD 36 hours with like 4 in the full game, I can't stand the story nor the just small size of the game world.

I was ready, they were not.
