AMAZING GAME CURRENTLY, definitely contender for GOTY.

FOR THE EMPEROR!

The Harry Potter franchise/world has always been a little lower in my top 10 series of all time, so when this game was announced I was excited, but not going crazy and feral over it. But after playing it, and expecting not too much, I can safely say this is one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had, especially in a single player game.

The world design, graphics, puzzles, story, voice acting, music all gets a 10/10, this game is a fantastic game. Obviously no game is the perfect masterpiece, and my only negative things to say would be PC optimisation, lack of originality in cosmetics, lack of interaction between NPCs, objects, food, non interactive buildings while in the vivariums and lack of customisation in room of requirement.

But! These do not at all take away from the game, story or fun you can have in this amazing world. I was absolutely surprised by the insane amount of detail everywhere, the staircase creating itself as you walk up it in hogwarts, the puzzles that lead to secret rooms, being able to fly almost everywhere. When the game runs without lagging, it is so smooth, magical and breath taking.

PvP is a mess, no PvE mode, skeleton ships don't sink after getting hit by 50 cannons, players come by and say GG, when it's a 3vs1 and you were just farming loot. They then say "Sorry bud, you can join our alliance and get half the profit!" Like, i just farmed that but you want me to get half? go screw yourselves

This game has very amazing qualities and is extremely fun, but one dumb situation can ruin the entire mood and force you to close it. Everytime I get on, I just get met with stupid situations that make me not wanna play for another week or day.

this is beyond humanity, we are evolving backwards as a species, I swear I didn't buy this game it was gifted to me and i accidentally accepted. After playing 4 hours? 6? I want to die. Graphics are decent for a game that is as vile as this one

Rust is like that one toxic ex you can't forget about, you hate the game, you hate the community but you always come back, even if it's for an hour, because lets face it, the game is fun when you're not getting try hards sweating through the pores onto their keyboards licking the Dorito dust off the keys.

Seriously though, this game can be extremely beautiful, and even very fun, but there is a lot of "wtf" moments, and moments that will just irritate you. The community is one of the worst things to happen to this game, ranging from very RARELY, the nice people who you will become friends with, learn from and even base up together, to the people that will betray you, kill you on sight and treat you as if you were destined to rot in a grave alone and with no love or friends.

This game has copious amounts of possibilities and content. It even has servers dedicated strictly for PvP, PvE, Both and or Role playing. So if you want to try it, welcome to Rust, if not, I'm also proud of you for keeping your sanity!

I'm just recently getting into writing reviews for games, this will be one of the first on the list.

This game is extremely fun, and can easily trap you into spending many hours invested into it. I love medieval type games, even history, this is a good take on BOTH. I love pretending I'm creating a little village, making my people become friends with each other, It hits the RPG, Strategy, and Simulation genres perfectly, it has a nice RTS feel to it, alongside City Building feel too.

Thoughts and Suggestions: I do think this game still needs some work, such as mining and building, a little janky when you're going underground and back to the surface level. Add fun little places to search for loot or go into other areas. Just the thought of being able to explore sounds fun in itself. Maybe increase or widen the land you're given to work with for more extravagant ideas and creativity, It'd feel like you're making a Kingdom. That being said, if you're trying to build a village and kingdom, increase the units you're able to have, and even the raiders to feel like a small battle, very fitting for the time its based in (Vikings, Anglo-Saxon, slaves and prisoners)

Overall, this game is very well made, and will most likely still keep bringing out content. A beautiful time waster and even way to let your imagination run free, whether you're building, creating lives for your settlers or even preparing them for war as a group. (Always gotta reload when one of my favorites die though!)

Now that I have over 800 hours. I can make a review. This game is full of pricks and I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate them. But this game is so addictive that it's good. So I'd rate the game overall 8/10. Community 2/10
