Robot adventure made a game I already had mixed (leaning positive) feelings on worse.

Ruining every existing players achievement completion isn't so bad.
Making some of these achievements rely on what order you pick things up on specific screens, requiring replays is absurd.
I got myself softlocked halfway through the new levels as well, requiring me to replay a section right before I would have entered the next.

The already linear design is worse in this new chapter.
Requiring you to load out and back into screens multiple times to serve the level's structure was understandable.
Eventually the robot... part creation screens (?) would make it clear you had to back out, place a correct piece, go back to make the next, or the game would REMOVE those pieces and therefore progress.

the very last scene of the adventure, while a great addition on it's own, does not make the rest of the update worth it.

in fact, this has UN-sold me on the studio's recently announced two-player only game, which seems much better than builder's journey anyway.
If they'll worsen this game after launch, what's to say they won't mess up their next release

Clear potential, $30 USD price certainly feels worth it for the length and complexity.
Feels as if it could've been a bit tighter to control, at least on KB+M for me.

Clearly has some new ideas, just didn't work for me at all.

Its not demanding for most computers.

Exactly what it says it is up there. It works better than one may initially expect, even if they were a regular reviewer.

I LOVE this game, it was an amazing idea to code for most possibilities.
I also like all of the musical ideas. Good for RPG and lore lovers
