This was one of my absolute favorite games, and I quickly accumulated over 100hours of playtime.
However, since update 4.0 and the 'rework' to the rewards and progression systems, the game is boring.

With update 4.0, the developers *took away* characters' earned gene points, and have blocked any further progression beyond Level 30. All "rewards" after level 30 are entirely superficial.
According to the dev representative(s) in their Discord, this is 100% *intended*.

For solo, 2-player, and 3-player teams, the game is effectively dead.
Because of these decisions, I cannot recommend this game or, any game from
Hutlihut Games.

Very much, a shame; this was one of the few truly innovative games I've played recently...
