By the way, the giveaway threads are visible for members only, therefore when you joined you probably weren't able to see them.

For groups that have once been private and are now public, the Join button is broken. It says private but in reality the group isn't.
Any idea where you might have clicked in order to enter? Since I am really curious what triggers the joining process. Most likely you joined through SG?
