I'm one year away from 30 and have over 600 games in my steam library, I've been playing games in various forms since I was unable to speak. This game perfectly encapsulates both the history and evolution of gaming in the most eloquent of ways, Both the depth of what's expressed but with the space to interpret for oneself. The gameplay itself is amazing from the cryptic start to somber finish. Fluid and beautiful, you'll be allowed to grow and you'll never blame the game for your own death. This is another sign of a great game.... Everything has been meticulously and lovingly crafted SERIOUSLY there is so much little beautiful details to the animations and environments it's easy to say this game is my favourite modern pixel game EVER. I'd like to thank heart machine for what they have given us. Cannot wait to see what this company comes up with next.

I cannot recommend this game enough 10\10 at $20 you'll get your moneys worth. Trust in the heart machine.

It's a game of space exploration and combat that I picked up a while ago, My initial 20 minutes were not that impressive, however now i've given it a chance i'm enjoying it quite a bit. Nice controls and I like messing with the AI on the weapon systems and ramming deflectors on a corvette = fun capital takedowns

TL:DR Fun navel combat space sim that needs a few hours investment to enjoy correctly. Would recommend for any general space enthusiasts, even more so on special.

This game is underexposed, a real hidden gem first off absolutely love the OST choice, second The gameplay is silky smooth, any deaths are always the result of my own actions, in other words WELL MADE AND BALENCED!

You should definitely purchese this for the collection, we need to support the devs with our wallets! AMAZING GAME!

I play way too much of this! Also, incredible, all your favourite board games and new ones, played with people around the world. What is not to like? Buy it! the value is absolutely incredible! labour of love

Edit Oct 2020: Ok guys..... i'm going to eat my hat now, they did it! They made good on everything! Hello games is to be trusted and i'm blown away with what they have done here in the face of harsh critics and angry public (me) i'd like to offer my sincere apologies and my support for every game you release in the future! From critic to staunch defender, this is what tenacity can accomplish! you all should be so proud! :D

Edit Aug 2017: I'm going to change this review to positive because the team have still been updating the game quietly and trying to bring the promised content and feeling to the game, overall this title really should of been marketed as Early Access and at a heavily reduced price. HOWEVER props to the team for enduring this fecal storm and pushing on with development.


Release review: This is probably the biggest lie on steam right now, I tried for a refund but the scam artists that made this game made the first system take around 2-3 hours to get out of and when you get out into space you quickly realise how many lies you were fed. There is a reason this is the most hated game on steam right now, it's because of false advertising! Hopefully The UK advertising board ban the sale of this piece of rectal matter from being sold the way it is now.

This game is over-hyped, i'd reccommend holding off till 75% sale at this current price point, I absolutley love movement based games, this left me bored and underwhelmed.

Ok so I know this game looks a bit rough around the edges still, sure a few textures are still placeholders and you know the fighting need some smoothing out, but let me tell you when i say it's good enough to make it feel like your mistake when you die as you can approach an opponent or react in so many different ways, Your bumhole will clench a little the first time you and another player are low on health and resort to chase or run whilst throwing things at each other.

The trapping mechanics are great if you use them well, ambushing is the most wise, poisons can help you come out of fights on top by making your opponent sick.

Huge Varieties of "Airdrops"!!! Basically crates sent with "F.U.N.C" you've found or earned filled with awesome weapons and chemicals however they are carried in by drone and one of my favourite past times is shooting them down and stealing them from other players before they can get to the LZ it was called from.

This game is actually a ton of fun and the replay value is there, i'm following the dev teams charts and boy oh boy they are cooking with gas, even at it's buggy core I've felt justified in the price point as it is pretty chockers fulla content now.

If you like the idea of hunger games cross borderlands humour in violent video game form grab it, it's worth it, with proximity VOIP soon this should be streamer bait so i'm aniticipating more victims to stand on my pokey pokey sicky sticks.

REMEMBER FIGHT SMARTER, NOT HARDER.

I've been following this game series for around 20 years, I've yet to been let down by a single entry, If you are on the fence because this is PC let me tell you this isn't just a port, it's amazing. I'm around 54 hours in and it's just getting more fun. The mouse and keyboard controls and responsive and precise, Now with a mouse I feel like more of a "Boss" than ever before thanks to easy aiming, On the other hand if you arn't one for cutscenes and being sneaky. This probably isn't for you. Please try all the other games in the series if you enjoyed this one, the others are more linear but razor focused on story progression. This one is about rebuilding from scratch less about one misson, of couse kojima has told a beautiful underlying story. Deep and full of reflection.

10\10 would get tattooed on skin.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons This game right here destroyed me emotionally, Swedish film director Josef Fares really knows how to set the tone and atmosphere, pacing was phenomenal and even though the language was a made up gibberish one i never had to ask myself what was going on.

Game studios should consider working with filmmakers more often. The puzzles never felt simple or over complicated, it was all intuitive and a joy to play.

Short game (about 4 to 5 hours) but one of the better ones i have had the pleasure of playing through. 9\10
