The story of your lad, one Mr. Anger Foot, who has all his prized footwear stolen by the city's most notorious criminal gangs & goes on a rampage through the entire city to get them back. Violence, toilets and feet ensue.

Had a ton of fun with this game; huge fan of the aesthetic choices; a gross, grimy yet colourful world bursting with as much character as it has crime, punctuated by a well-pitched soundtrack comprising hip-hop beats and thumping jumpstyle rhythms. Gameplay is fast paced & energising, level design is generally clear and linear, albeit with plenty of hidden side areas & opportunities for shortcuts. The boss fights are fun for the most part; one of them late in the game I found to be a major sticking point, though the option to freely turn assists on and off, up to and including invincibility, is a welcome addition that allowed me to press on with the game.

Story is straightforward, not too in-depth but it never needs to be. Interstitial "breather" levels offer opportunities to speak to the denizens of the city, who offer silly dialogue & amusing situations which add to the flavour of the game's world & themes. The world is vulgar, crass, and frequently rude, & I relished it.

Finally, big fan of the design of Anger Foot himself; one of my new favourite video game lads. A lean, green kicking machine who looks as intimidating as he is, with a unique fashion style comprising mismatched colours & clothing, which serve to make his upper body look bulkier, while also accentuating and showing off his defining features, i.e. his legs, and his big stompy feet for stomping on you with. Love him.

Overall, brilliant little game, heartily recommend.
