As much as I want the game to be good, profitable and successful so we get more content I cannot really recommend it in its current state. The game is not really receiveing much needed bugfixes in a timely fashion, most of the time the fixes are tied to some major patches that don't really come as often as you would like, and there are still some issues that haven't been fixed for months as far as I'm aware.

On top of this, there is this growing concern about the new DLC model that has been introduced by CA, what I mean about this is the significant increase of DLC cost but not significant increase of the content's quality. I cannot claim to know how many people are currently maintaining/working on dlcs right now nor can I say how good the current team responsible for the game is skill wise but I think it's pretty fair to assume that the fault as always lies mostly with the management. It's really hard to imagine than this game is struggling financialy as I always got a feeling that this series is CA's ultimate cash cow so with my knowledge I can't really find any reason for the current state of affairs other than mismanagement the pure and simple corporate greed.

Now some of you, old time fans and new players might be concerned that CA might "pull the plug" on TW:W3 as they did with the TW:3K where it's DLC did not sell, so you might feel compelled to buy the new DLC even if you don't agree with the pricing and to that I can say: Do not be afraid. Look at other titles by CA, can you see any other series that can bring them significant profits other than Warhammer? I do not think so. It would be a disaster for them, there is so much potential here, so much money to be had they would be mad to let this opportunity go. So if you are hesitant about buying the new DLC because you are worried about the future of TW:W3: remain calm and remember, your choice matters and you can show CA what you think about their practicies. I do not want to tell you what to do with your money but please be aware that you are ultimately voting with your wallets and showing CA what they can get away with, and what is unacceptable.
