I only played the first story, which made me realize I am way more autistic than I could ever thought.

This game hits hard tbh
I never expected the story of a french-american gay couple, a german twink with his family, and a french nurse living the horrors of WW1 to be so charming.

I wish Steam had the "in between" review option.

I guess this game tries to increase awareness about the topic and also connect with trans people.
And while it sorta does that, most of the dialogs about the topic feel reaallyyy forced, many other negative reviews pointed out the same thing, it feels like I am in a lecture or like reading a very basic textbook about trans people. What I am complaining about here is the naturality of it, because it gets really dense because of that.

And I understand the game is likely based on a personal experience, but it didn't connected with me as much.
This game is technically set in Japan, despite this, the characters act like an average western person, and it's pretty noticeable. I understand I am from South America, and this might be a pretty specific case, because I can clearly see all the sugar and colourful paint poured on this game which is a huge mark of being made in any first world country, in this case, very likely a western one. The effects of which are simply horrible.
Any complexity or nuance about the experience is pretty much non existent, it's like someone superficially looked over trans people experiences and straight up copypasted the most common and basic issues.
In the vast majority of the situations I felt like they were waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too basic and waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too good to be even slightly compared with anything close that could have happened to both me or any other trans people I spend more than 2 hours talking with. The game doesn't even mention HRT lol (or at least I didn't see it) and the protagonist seems to be totally focused on "not be seen weird" rather than "this can get me in serious problems", on fact, things like discrimination don't even seem to exist in this world, which is a huge fear all trans people ever had to deal with.

But hey, at least it tries to do something with what it has. Artistically speaking it's not that innovative, but it just works okay. It's not the best of the games about the topic nor the worse I guess, and even if it's pretty basic, it's way better than nothing, so I am glad that this at least exists.

Look, I wasn't expecting much from this DLC, but when I started to play it:
First (big spoiler): I DON'T HAVE BRAIN AND YET I CAN STILL TALK, WALK, FIGHT, ETC??????
Then, at some point I decided to get into a building because "I'm curious", right after that a bunch of black skeletons wearing space suits and using plasma weapons ambushed me, they might sound a relatively easy to take down but I had to use 90000000000000000000000 rounds to kill them.

But this is not everything, after some roboscorpions attacked me and left me almost weeping, I got into a cave "to relax a bit".
Inside I found a giant bloatfly that shot me 2 plasma shots and killed me, and yes, you read right, it's a giant bloatfly that shots plasma.
Of course, I had to kill that thing wearing my Pretty Voice AI-Integrated Stealth Suit and shooting it with my Dog Barking .44 Magnum Minigun.

You also can have a light switchers that try to flirt with you.

If after this you haven't considered that this is a must-buy, I highly recommend you to reconsider your life choices and its meaning.

So anticlimatic.

When you enter this game, you will be sobbing in every single hour in this game, you will go outside of your main base and 3 seconds later you will be hit by a APC 80km away which you didn't notice, you will see the entire army being completely vaporized after assaulting a single small spot with zero relevance for the enemy.

But after spending +100 hours you realize what this game is actually about. Which is a being guide of how to purposefully and accurately commit war crimes whenever you want and how to capture an entire city full of enemies using exclusively a single tank, tank which, by the way, fell from the sky in a parachute.

It's an amazing game, I love it, very recommended.

Edit: It would be really nice if the devs add a way to see the stats/characteristics of the equipment, since it's a lot and the current way to check anything is going to the wiki and read a 9000000 pages article which btw is very uncomfortable thing to do.
