This tickles the aspiring engineer in me.

The world of Dishonored is a bleak, tortured one. It is a Victorian, steampunk setting, as twisted as they come by corruption, disease, and occult, fantasy elements protagonist Corvo Attano, is no stranger to. It provides the player with elegant, well-crafted cityscapes to traverse which allow for multiple satisfying routes towards each objective, each approach — casualty-free stealth or bloody murder — with its own consequences on the game world, characters and ending.

As hinted previously, the player has multiple supernatural powers at his disposal that aid him in both navigating the environment and evading/shredding apart enemies. These are responsible for the mobility, flexibility and freedom seen in the gameplay. They work very well with each other and with the regular knife-and-gun upgradeable hardware in the player's inventory, and offer a variety of both classic (e.g. throwing a grenade, slowing down time to shoot it in mid-air) or inventive.

All in all, Dishonored is one of the must-haves of the previous generation ; an instant classic, reminiscent of the old Thief games, as several others have stated, and a very solid experience in and of itself.

You can still shoot ♥♥♥♥♥ with an M4.
Oh, and chickens too.

Do I really have to explain why you ABSOLUTELY need this game? I sunk 300 hours in this ♥♥♥♥♥, and that's with barely any content mods or even the DLCs.
