I saw a video on Youtube when the game launched. Didn't appeal to me. BUT THEN, I kept on playing other survival games and I've had complaints and a wishlist that I wished those survival games had. So I browsed the survival genre again and found that the devs had put so much work into Aska that all those wishlist and complaints are being answered and addressed here. So I picked it up and it blew me away.
I don't mind the grind as I'm looking for more realistic approach to logistics like hauling logs around. So this game is perfect for me. I still wished this has a free build feature where I can put down individual walls and doors and windows to create a beautiful buildings, but at least it lets me put down natural looking roads and walls.
Highly recommend you try this game if you're looking for a new survival game to sink countless hours into!

This game has a high replayability. If you love turn based but crave something that feels new, and you're ready to sink countless hours into managing your warband, min-maxing stats and collecting items for each member, then I don't know why you're still reading this comment. Go get it!

This is the best ARPG I've ever played. Hands down!
The combat is the main attraction for me. The animation is smooth, unlike many stiff animations in other ARPG titles. Plenty a content, gathering and upgrading the town, side quests and stuff. The map is handcrafted with verticality we often see in Dark Souls, meticulously designed nooks and crannies.
And I don't need to mention the art direction, which you can see for yourself.

Great survival sandbox experience. So much content. Frequent updates.
And most importantly, relaxing music!

Well worth the price even tho it's only early access. Not to mention you're supporting indie devs.

1.7 just added a ton of new stuff that defines the identity of a Victoria game. The good updates keep coming!

Got this Deluxe Edition from Early Access. Artbooks and soundtracks are great, but greater still is the dev team

Anyone who loves Total War and the fantasy genre at the same time will find this game easy to love. As for those who are new to the Total War series, don't be intimidated. The tutorial part is great at explaining things you need to know, and there's tons and tons of resources out there for once you've mastered the basics.

Really worth a try for those who are new to both Total War and Warhammer.

Very enjoyable. I love the fluidity of the flight. It all feels satisfying.
One thing I hope the dev could add is more abilities, or anything that encourages experimentation between different builds. I think that kind of depth is necessary when we're dealing with a PvP game, just like in moba for example.
Also idk if the dragons are all obtainable or if some of them cannot be obtained once they're not available in shop or through grind, but I also hope that there are more explanation on the bestiary how I can obtain a certain dragon.
