Its like reliving my childhood all over again.

They have remade everything, the intro to the game is very similar, but the intro to silent hill is different. All the landmarks are remade in their own ways, you have some side stuff you can do, and miss out on if you're not careful. It took a very hard and complex to understand type game, and simplified it so people that are new to the franchise can enjoy it. Its a masterpiece, and seeing the introduction to Silent hill again, plus the remixed music of this game did bring a tear to my eye at one point. I am in love, and recommend this game to absolutely anyone. To anyone bashing this game, they didn't play the original. There is only two gripes i have with this game

1) The optimization is pretty rough, HOWEVER, if you launch your game in DX11 it does resolve almost all of those issues.
Right click Silent Hill -> Launch Options -> Put "-DX11"

2) 30 FPS cut scenes, not a big deal for me, but I expected better with a game of this quality.

I'm also amazed at James VA, don't get me wrong all the voice acting in this game is fantastic, but the person playing James really captures how James was in 2001.

Buy the game, play it, you won't regret it, and this will hopefully help them remake SH1-4

Mages just run the game, no point in playing halfway decent melee classes cause you'll just get ranged out. Cryomancer has a whole ability just like Mei from overwatch.

This game and dark and darker are lame as ♥♥♥♥.

game good, endless opportunities, fire muscle mommy can be romanced, 10/10

I really want to like this game, I really do.

But holy moly, is this game stale as hell.

From awful voice acting on some of the NPC, to awkward voice dialogs that nobody in their right mind would say in a real conversation

The combat is good, I honestly use parkour skills to fight more than anything else, the weapons are meh, guns feel like an absolute joke.

But Techland, please, just let me do things without my ENTIRE coop party needing to be present. You don't even let us save progress anyway! And PLEASE stop making me talk to some person, walk 2 step to do it again. One cut scene is fine, but this is annoying as hell.

The parkour feels nice, i have to admit. once you get the flow going it feels great.

but i still cannot recommend this game, DL1 is much better in every way possible.

honestly, this game is another 10/10.

Story is top tier, gameplay is fun, substories are unique and integrated in a unique way.

You see old favorite characters and very interesting new ones, and very much puts a good end to the Tojo / Omi storyline.

Want to know my honest favorite part? Professional difficulty is actually hard. I love playing games on hard difficulty, past yakuza games hard wasn't really hard.

This game is def challenging. Also, the game is about 5 chapters long, but if you split them up like old yakuza games, it feels like 12/13 chapters.

10/10, can't wait to go to hawaii with the boys!

Actually ridiculous Sledgehammer is able to scam its playerbase for 70 dollars, that is literally a DLC. Same assets, same guns, its even LISTED as a DLC in the steam section. How are you going to make a "new game" but carry over progression such as guns from the last game that melt new players that start from nothing? do you not care about your casual playerbase? cod is dead at this game, others will take its place.

IF YOU AINT GUILTY THEN WHY YOU RUNNIN?

Just an actual awful game. They just nerfed every killer into the ground and survivors just have it stupidly easy to escape. It's not fun or balanced, if you even want a chance at winning, you need to sweat your ass off or play the game for 3000 hours to get every perk in the game.

Also matchmaking is completely trash. Ash 4 being put up against gold 2's that have prestiged their character 20 times.

Play something else, save your sanity and your money.

The same boring game as last year.

Mediocre at best, guns feel pretty bad.
