The Hordes of Hunger demo gives a fantastic preview of what’s shaping up to be a must-play rogue-lite. The combat is fast, fluid, and intense, with a solid progression system that keeps you coming back for more. Even in this early stage, the variety of enemies, skills, perks and Weapons hints at the depth the full game could offer.

There are a few areas that could benefit from refinement, like performance drops during larger enemy waves and a more diverse soundtrack to keep the atmosphere engaging. But these are minor issues for a demo and don’t take away from the fun experience it offers.

Overall, the demo is a great teaser of what's to come. If you enjoy action-packed rogue-lites, Hordes of Hunger is definitely worth keeping an eye on!

I've played many games, but none have touched my heart the way Kind Words has. This game came into my life when I was at my lowest, struggling with feelings I couldn't explain, and desperately seeking a safe space. This game became that space for me—a place where I could pour my thoughts into letters, knowing that on the other side, someone, somewhere, was willing to listen without any judgement.

This game offers a lifeline of connection in a world that can feel isolating. It’s more than just writing letters; it’s about finding comfort in the kindness of strangers. I am an Introvert, I was hesitant about whether I should send requests/write letters to strangers but every response I received was a reminder that I wasn’t alone, and those simple, thoughtful words became my anchor in dark times. The peaceful music and gentle aesthetic made me feel like I was in a safe cocoon, protected from the weight of the outside world.

Without Kind Words, I’m not sure I would’ve made it through some of the hardest moments of my life or this past few weeks. It’s a reminder of the goodness that still exists in people, even when everything feels overwhelming. If you’re struggling or feel like no one is listening, this game can be the hand that reaches out when you need it the most. It certainly was for me.
