I enjoy GeoGuessr, but the release of this feels somewhat incomplete. I have a subscription so I can play as much as I want but I don't understand why I would play the steam version over the browser version other than the fact I can clip my game a bit easier. Yes, the game looks pretty smooth but the only thing you are allowed to play is ranked or unranked 2v2s. Whenever I play GeoGuessr I usually play with my friends because I don't usually want to grind ranked by myself, it wouldn't be so bad if there was a singleplayer option where you can just load up a map to practice, but there isn't. I'm assuming the devs will listen to the community to make changes but they definitely released this way too early. I've read some other reviews about the double subscription thing aswell, I would suggest making the game a 1 time payment, would work miles better than the monthly subscription because it's getting outdated. There are alot of different ways to promote monotization these days aswell. The game is a solid 9/10 but the release of this steam version is pretty terrible.
