It becomes an idle game once you have figured out a good code base so it ideally could do with some more content. It's fun for the first hour or so.

PSN account requirement removed, but still blocked in some countries for no reason.

Helldivers 2 is a cool game tho.

Probably won't make a comeback unless serious changes are made, but said changes are probably too much for an update. Sad, I wanted another modern BF to compete with 4.

Do I recommend it? Yes.
Does the price increase change that? Personally no, but I'm biased because I love this game and I think it's worth it. (I also got it while it was cheap, £15 as apposed to the upcoming £30)
Of course there are plenty of people who will say otherwise with reasons I actually agree with. But that won't change my mind because I have the money to spend.

If you have the money and you want to buy it, buy it now.
If you have the money and you aren't sure, there's a demo for a reason, there's also the other "demo".
If you don't have the money and you want to buy it, I'm afraid you are out of luck, save if you can!

Base game is great, but since Odyssey it's been rather downhill. I wish they could see the problems and why the community doesn't like it and fix it but I'm assuming all they see is money.

Hopoo just sold the Risk of Rain IP to Gearbox.

Gearbox has done basically nothing with the IP. There is a update coming out soon but it adds the bare minimum. They pushed out a mobile gacha game before updating the actual game if that tells you anything about how little they care.

Game is great, visually one of the coolest looking games.

I have some problems with it that could be fixed, some things that need adding and it's fairly short but overall it's pretty good.

Get it on sale.

Oof, Tencent now own a portion of Bohemia. Nope.

It's a good game, gets laggy with larger, and I mean larger contraptions but still worth picking up before they up the price.
