The game is a lot of fun, though it is VERY heavy on tutorials and system information in the first 5/6 hours. once you get to the meat of the gameplay loop its great though! be warned, its a little graphically intensive but its not a real time game, so its not a huge deal.

A great game, not just a great 40k game. a more deterministic XCOm, which was always my biggest problem with XCOM. IT offers a similar, but different kind of puzzle to solve, one where it feels like every solution just introduces more problems. Your characters also have the weight and heft that Grey Knights should, and they feel as elite as Grey Knights should. The story is basic, but fun, and the characters are amusing with their banter.

I enjoyed the game thoroughly for as long as it lasted. I think it needed more content in the base game, more islands specifically, but I can't say I wasn't engrossed while I played.

The same diablo-style ARPG that you loved as a younger man/woman, but updated just enough so that its how you REMEMBER it, not how the original would be today.

pretty good game; feels a LOT like Arkham Asylum mixed with Assasin's Creed, but its a good mix. It is very friendly to people who are not very interested in LOTR lore, and the gameplay's very responsive. Idk if it is worth 50, but the 38 i paid for it is well worth it.
