" Peter," with a tone full of concern, she calls upon her spouse, she pauses speaking as she begins staring at the suddenly-arrived cross-eyed steed, confused and unsure about how should she react. The husband, with the most "interested" facial reaction, stops chewing his food, turns his sight at her while expressing less than minimum care, and waits to hear the end of her sentence, sensing an incoming lecture.

Knowing his wife, her utterance and the tone of it, indicates that a trial will be held, and she will scapegoat him to relief some of the stress, making him pay the bill, nothing he can do to prevent this, accepting the outcomes and containing himself are his defences against such conditions. Just like their father, the children had enough of watching the atmosphere of the dinner constantly ruined by their mother, all wondering: what led to this point in their family's relationship ?

She completes: "The horse is here." the man turns his head to witness the entity referred to, a stallion with a deformed eyesight, looking at everything and nothing at once, all the time, arrived silently and remained like this, noticed firstly by the wife, although the horse's face implies gullibility, it's intentions are ambiguous, and surveillance is required to understand it's motives and effects on the state of the household.
