This is amazing work for such a small team.

Unpatched movement exploits ruin the game. They were promised to be patched a looooong time ago, but it still hasn't released.

Time to kill is so quick that you have almost no chance to respond if you have anything but a good PC. 50 FPS? Can't move in time to even shoot back.

If you plan to play this on the Steam Deck while docked and using Keyboard + Mouse, it'll have massive amounts of delay on the inputs too.

I realize this is an indie game, so my expectations were already lowered. It's just not fun at all in this state

This is very fun! I love the level of detail in the structures & the destruction. There does appear to be weight simulation and all, which adds a lot of versatility.

The background of the main menu is interactable with you being able to blow structures up with a mouse click. That was a very cool addition

This game was VERY difficult for me to get into. I tried at least 10 times. Finally on this last try, I just powered through the first hour and did end up enjoying the rest. I loved the first 2 games, I'm not sure what's so different about this one for me to struggle with it.

Normally when I play games, I play them for the gameplay (as you might expect). However with Metro, the gameplay takes a back seat compared to the storytelling and portrayal of events. The gameplay is still great, but the main attraction for me is the ambiance and environmental storytelling. It's top-notch in these games. It somehow gets you to be afraid of what's going on while still being very interested. Enough to get through the scenes.

Toward the end of the game, the "ghosts" as they're called make a comeback. This reminded me what I liked so much about the first two games. It does an amazing job of portraying the horror of war, the atrocities committed, and how it affected everyone.

Toxic community, updates aren't that great, gameplay is fairly bland. Chat is censored, which ???. This is an M rated game! What's the point? Just play older BF games

It can be fun with friends and just at specific points, but it's not very common.

Update 9/5/24: This game has reached the stage were player growth has stagnated, and the players that are there... just don't know what's going on. It's not infrequent to die and have multiple medics near you, but none revive you. Gameplay sucks, it's just overall very frustrating.

This game has entertained me for the last 6 years. That alone is amazing, but it also provided an out for my stress during a hard part of my life.
