What I really love about this game is the combat! Enemies know how to block, dodge, and strike so you can block their strikes with the shield or your sword and then counter-strike at the opportune time. There is no wiggling of the sword at the direction of the enemy until they die. It feels like authenticate combat.

I need to give credit to the developers of this game! This is a very unique style of game that I just fell in love with immediately. First off, you are in the Rabbit hole the entire game (which just fits with the name of the game and gives it a unique style) and everything happens within it! You get a full Alice in Wonderland experience, treasure hunting (finding all those invitations), and a puzzle game all in one. This is a must have VR experience. Can be done standing or sitting as long as you can navigate 360 degrees around you.

This is such a wonderful, addicting game. It has a few issues but overall the quality is pretty amazing.

Pros:
- The game has a lot of items you can decorate your house with. The more jobs you do, the more items you unlock and the more possibilities grow for home decorating.
- You can buy houses, clean 'em, decorate 'em, and re-sell them at a profit then do it all over again
- Skill tree - didn't expect this but it's a nice feature to make cleaning and interior design much faster
- You can not only place certain objects but you can build them as well - so far I've unlocked toilets, tubs, showers, and syncs. Everything comes in a nice box with a blueprint of how to put it together. 6 steps and you're done. WAYYYY faster than doing it in real-life.
- You can't drop a tool - it floats back into your tool belt. It's like Thor - if he had a tool belt and a hammer.
- Game has a nice grid for placing items on walls and ceilings so it makes it easy to tell where it's going.

Cons:
- You can occasionally grab the wrong item from the tool belt but meh, you drop one and try again. Not a big deal.
- The game needs to improve physics. Sometimes dropping a banana in a bowl puts the banana on top of the bowl, not in it. If you try to drop an item too close to another item, you can make it disappear (i.e. like the Sims game where it turns red and doesn't allow you to place it there). Sometimes you just need to place it above an object and let gravity place it for you.
- When you have locomotion enabled, sometimes holding a tool will not allow you to rotate around
- Also realised that sometimes when reaching for the sink handle, I accidentally moved the entire sink. It's not that big of a con, just make sure you know what's highlighted before you try to activate it.

Overall, the game is a blast to play. I'm glad it's not realistic. For example, I don't want to ACTUALLY take out the trash, clicking on it is just fine. The point of the game is not cleaning, it's house flipping. The entire point of the game should be house decorating and design so you can flip the house in as little time as possible and it does that job! Highly recommend this game especially if you are a Sims fan.
(Hint: Devs use the Sims 4 as motivation on what to add next!)

This is a wonderful puzzle game that really makes you think outside the box. In fact, you should even play this without reading what's it about. Once you find out what kind of world you are exploring, it opens up your mind to a world of new possibilities and challenges. For example when I'm in a world within a world, how do I make this large thing into something small and vice versa?

It is a very short game but it's well worth the experience. Make sure you toot that horn when you get in the boat! A+
Would recommend for sure!

When we go back in time at look at VR games where they came from and where we went from there, this game will stand as the one that laid the foundation of what an AAA VR game is. I want every VR game to have this kind of detail. Let's just go into some of the beautiful but intricate details:
1. Movement - Extremely smooth. You can teleport from place to place but settings in this game will allow you to walk around the environment exactly like an FPS game. The only time I needed to teleport was to jump over an obstacle or go through a window (which makes perfect sense).
2. The HUD - it's so beautifully detailed into your wrist. Health in little hearts on your left wrist. A backpack that holds everything you need and so wonderfully designed that every time you reach for something from your backpack, it knows exactly what you need. Ex. Holding your pistol, you get pistol ammo. Plus two wrist holders for random items like health kits or grenades.
3. Combat. Realistic looking guns plus a reload function (No more just hitting R to reload - you actually have to eject the magazine, pull one from your backpack, insert it into the gun, and ♥♥♥♥ it.
4. Interactive objects - just tons of stuff to use and throw around. If it's not tied to the ground, you can likely use it. A little feature they added is that you can pull items towards you. Like a reverse gravity gun. It's genius!
5. Interactive 3D puzzles - gorgeous stuff you just have to see it.

And just so much more. From a guy who originally remembers the day Half-Life 2 came out and laying the foundation of future gaming - this game absolutely does it again! I loved seeing all the old enemies return to life in a gorgeous VR. Picking up headcrabs in VR is such an event I never thought I would get to do. Fascinating to see them up close.

As I am writing this, I just can't say how awesome this game really is. Just know that if you pick this game up for VR, you are in for a treat regardless if this is your first ever Half-Life game. If you've ever played Half-Life before, oh......*drools* you'll love it!

Also has it's own map making engine so you can make your own Half-Life maps for other people to play! What are you waiting for? Go buy it now!

Quite possibly the worst VR game to date. If you drive the bus, don't ever leave the road.

Maybe once I can get into the game, I can past it's main flaws but for right now I can't recommend this game.
The Big #1 Flaw - According to the Steam store it accepts Tracked Motion Controllers. This is a lie. Once you launch the game and press a button on your tracked motion controller, you will get a "Fatal Error". So to get around this massive problem, I did some research on the Discussion page to find out that as long as you just use a Gamepad and forget the motion controllers, the game will work fine.
#2 - The game is using a mixture of Gamepad and Head Tracking capabilities. While this works fine for some of the puzzles, it messes up basic movement. For example, if you look at a wall and walk straight, you'll head both forward and at the wall at the same time causing a diagonal movement. To get around this problem, you always need to look in the direction you are travelling.

So in the end, we have a mix of traditional video game development with VR game development causing a giant mess. This should have been made for one or the other and not both.

App doesn't seem to work at all...as soon as it loads it just says "Oops. Can't load this video." and it won't let you do anything else.

Short and sweet review. The game itself is not that bad - the story, the characters, the battles, and abilities are all great. It's a bit too simplistic in its design but it's still fun. The problems with this game stems from game bugs and how it was designed. First off the design concept of not giving the player the ability to jump over obstacles but using Interactive checkpoints lead me to a game breaking bug in Chapter 12 that there's no workaround for - I'm behind a barrier that the character needs to jump over but the Interaction point is no longer there. So I can't complete the game. Publisher went out of business so there's not likely a fix ever happening. They do have a Support email address but I'm not sure who is running it or if they have any power to fix anything other than just running damage control. I will try anyways...

If you can pick this game up for 80-90% off, it's worth a couple of bucks for the fun. Just be careful of the Interactive points - there will be forks in the road with hidden souls so try to get them but remember there's no going back if you missed one. Reloading a checkpoint to get one could break the game like it did for me.

Quantum Break is definitely a unique game that plays with the idea of time and what can happen when time is manipulated and how it affects the universe as a whole. As your character is immune to the effects of time collapsing all around him, you will get multiple abilities like being able to fast forward short distances, or run longer distances and take out enemies up close and personal, or just stop time near you so bullets get stuck in time allowing you to heal faster. All of this makes for a unique gaming experience.

The game has a great story that's not only told by the characters you control but my several episodes where you control how the story unfolds by choosing between 1 or 2 possible outcomes.

What I really enjoy about this game is how time breaks down around him. You'll see people and objects stuck in time. A truck could crash in front of you but the truck gets stuck in time! Several times you'll kill an enemy and the blood and body will get stuck in the air (makes for great screenshots! Almost wish you could do a selfie with your kill stuck in mid-flight).

I would highly recommend playing it. It's worth replaying to find all the collectibles and see how all the choices affect the story and the gameplay.
