This game will bork your desktop resolution and resize all of your windows on boot in Windows. It might be a good game to play but I never got to play it. Couldn't even get into the settings to figure out if there was a fix. Refund requested.

Early Access Review
A very innovative game design wrapped in a simple interface with a learning curve that goes at your pace while still seeming difficult to master. Reviews that indicate it lacks depth likely haven't beaten enough of the floors to see the game's full potential.

Steam Workshop support recently added. Recommended at list price or on sale.

Slay the Spire is one of the best games in the deck-building, dungeon-crawling genre. Highly recommended.

I've been an alpha tester for Factory Town since well before it was released on Steam early access. It has been a blast being along for the ride that its development cycle has been. The solo developer is very active in the community both on the Steam forums and on the dedicated Discord server. He is very open to suggestions for the game and major updates tend to come out every week or two.

The game itself is an immersive sandbox experience where the player can choose their own pace and complexity of play. You can keep things simple or go overboard with automation and logistics. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is very engaging and accessible.

If you want a great, medieval-esque take on Factorio and other similar games, pick up Factory Town. If you do, be sure to join the very-active Discord server for engaging conversations with the developer and other players.

I really enjoyed this game for its setting, artistic style, dialog/voice-acting and story. It isn't for you if you need a game to have combat, but if you like interactive story games this is a gem. I don't know if it's worth the $20 price tag, but it is definitely worth putting on your wishlist and picking up when it's on sale. I got it when it was 50% off and felt it was well worth it at that price.
