FOR THE GLORY OF MANAGED DEMOCRACY

I adore this game and have wasted many hours and much money because i did. The game is reaching a tipping point when it comes to the greed of the monetization of it. Myself and many others are sick and tired of blatantly anti-player decisions backed up by "statistics" which the player base has never seen. I think many players would be fine with choices of gajin if they would at least show the empirical data behind it. When the player base does want to actually dispute something they are told to go to the forums, which would be perfectly fine if they didn't shut down and delete any posts they disagree with on the forums.

I would happily make this a recommendation if they would just listen and be transparent instead of just lording over us.

This game by far stands as a testament to the viability of line battle shooters in a realistic format. I have sunk a large amount of hours into this game due to the sheer enjoyment I've found in it and it's community. There are many different ways to play the game from the rigid regimental line battles to the chaos of the public matches.

I know a lot of people have complained about the recent addition of levels to the game. In my opinion it was a sorely needed addition to the game, as it kept new players from tanking rounds due to lack of knowledge during sale periods. (This is bad as the newer players that weren't playing officer wouldn't really get a round that fully represented the game and all it has to show) Even with some people complaining about the role locks, all base classes (there is little to no differences between the different ranks in a class) can be unlocked in 4-6 rounds. This means that at least if a new players wants to play officer you can. (I highly recommend not playing officer until you have a strong grasp on the core mechanics and a good understanding of the map)

This game really shines in the in game's all chat, it is highly recommended that you use a mic while playing. The chatter from the rank and file to the officers screaming over the shot and shell is what sells the whole experience. Getting in a charge is great but, charging with your entire team screaming while all you hear is the opposing side's officers and NCO's screaming to brace is absolutely glorious. This doesn't even talk about the feeling of being shelled by period accurate artillery pieces.

I would recommend this game hands down to people that love games like HLL, ARMA, and Squad.

I highly recommend this game for anyone who loves STALKER or Metro

If only the updates would come out sooner.
