Wow! Here we go; this crappy game review. You know, I went into this game knowing it was terrible beyond belief, but nothing would've predicted this monstrosity! Well, matter as well start off with the positives if there were any:

-Did I mention Kane?

Truth be told, there isn't a lot of good things about this game! I played it for as long as I could before I just told myself no! I can't play this anymore! My goal was to play it to see what happened at the end of the game, and for $5, it seems reasonable to waste your money on something so cheap. However, even going into this game KNOWING it's trash, I still couldn't finish it! It was that bad! If you're curious about the ending, just look up the campaign cutscenes through YouTube or something. Do yourself a favor and keep that $5.

But for the few positive things I did say about it, it is true that Kane (Joseph Kucan) is the only set in stone thing that's worth the buy here. The man's entire life is based on this gaming franchise, and every ♥♥♥ fan should pay respect to this man's future in this game considering it went downhill for ♥♥♥ after this game's release. The game also offers new tactics with the Crawler unit that you have to protect now.

So instead of base building (you know, the thing that made the Command and Conquer gaming franchise famous), you now have this Crawler, and the missions are now turned to escort missions rather than destroying your enemy base! But nevertheless, if you lose a Crawler in battle, do not fret! You get to respawn a new Crawler in a designated area that the AI doesn't know about and you don't have to start over the mission! Yay! All the Crawler does is turn itself into a construction yard and build units to defend it, that's all! No buildings, no Tiberium, no fun! All the player could do with the Crawler is choose between 3 classes, Offence, Defense, and Support. And even though the tutorial gives you all the classes special abilities and whatnot, you have to earn experience points to unlock the simplest abilities! So you're forced to go back and play the same damn missions again and again!

Ugh! If you look up the interview the developers had once the CaC4 was released, they talked about how RTS games are getting tedious, and how they thought this new change would help it. The problem there is that you don't simply change the entire gameplay that the franchise was founded on. Other games like the Red Alert trilogy, CaC3, ♥♥♥ General Zero Hour, ♥♥♥ Tiberium Sun and many others continued to show off the wonderful RTS experience that CaC4 completely killed! You can't do that under the ♥♥♥ name, you just can't. EA forever killed this franchise, so have fun with their last game if you're still very interested in it. But for the market value of $20, don't even think of purchasing it! It's not worth it!
