Hands Down one of the best games I have ever played. SP1 and SP2 are both fantastic, beautiful visuals, fast engaging gameplay, and fantastic story allow this to take a top spot in almost anyone's game repitoire.

How did I not know about this game!? Its a blast and a nice change to the Diablo style games. Pick it up on discount (I got it for 17.99 Definitive Edition) and its worth every penny! Been loving the 40k Universe and this game has so much lore you wont want to stop playing

Ended up trying out NMS for the first time OCT 2024. It has been one of the most fun games I have ever played. Keeps you immersed, yes there is somewhat of a storyline, and ground / space combat is a blast! Im barely reaching mid game yet and im almost 50 hours in.

Great game, fun and action packed. You play as a space marine, directly controlling an Ultra Marine as you smash, slice, shoot or blow up your enemies until there are none left standing.

You will deal with crashes, but the fun overrides it for sure.

Game is short. Maybe around 9-11 hours taking your time. Pick the game up when its under $40.

Oct 1st, 2024 - First time playing. Has been a blast so far. Newly Built PC, 7950x3d + 7800 XT(waiting for RDNA-4), smashes this game in 1440p. Native Resolution (1440p), no upscaling and no frame generation, Maxed Out visual settings, I am averaging 95-100 fps in most areas. And occasional dips to 70 fps. Frikin Sweet

Have not ran into any major bugs (yet), one thing I've noticed in my short playtime is the crowd/randomly generated NPC's wandering the city, are clunky AF. I sat in one spot for about 15 minutes and watched every single NPC collide with this one invisible corner. Every one would collide with it, make a tripping animation, collect itself, trip again, then continue on their lifeless journey. Little immersion breaking.

Overall has been a fantastic experience, and am enjoying the game!

One of the OG classics. Still holds up in 2024 even with clunky controls.

One of the top freeform crafting / economy builder&management games out there.

You crash land on an alien planet and have to survive the harsh and brutal landscape while endless natives try to free their land from the new disturbance. Attempt to thrive and erect a production facility capable of sending you back into space to get home before the natives overcome you.

I played this game in the early days, don't remember exactly when but it was well before the game came to steam, a few years probably. I remember getting it from their website. I'd have to guess 2014/2015. It was very rudimentary but the concept was great. Forgot about it for a few years, than realized a good friend and his brother were playing this game in 2020. Noticed it was still in Open Beta but about to be released in a few weeks!!

Started playing again with them on one of their old laptops (we are up in the mountains with no internet most of the time so we play offline, I have to tether my iPhone to my PC and get 150kb/s just to update achievements =D). Eventually got the game on my own steam account and played my first solo map myself and now have spend over 150+ hours in that game and counting! I have 90 rockets launched and working on making tier 1/2/3 blueprints now that i can use for cleaning up the harder achievements.

10/10. Great Game. Lots of replayability. And extremely tough depending on game parameters you choose. You'll definitely get your $30 worth. I have 150+ hours on my main base map and probably about 50+ more with my buddy's messing around on his hardcore marathon map (insanely hard and fun).

Great 4X game based on one of the Planets from the Endless Space Universe. Great choice of Factions with plenty of difference between them all. Wonderful art style. Alot to take in at first, but if you've played any in depth 4X game you shouldn't have a problem jumping right in and destroying the opposition!

Spec Ops:The Line. What can I say. The gunplay is Mediocre. The Ai is unforgiving and All-Knowing. The story throws you into situations where you need to make a BAD, or Worse decision. And somehow after finishing the game I came out feeling like I WAS THE VILLIAN THE WHOLE TIME.

This story can be closely related to a book called "Heart of Darkness." Where it touches on the deep and dark idea that humans can be thrown into situations where they will make EVIL choices. And be able to justify it with their actions based on their small perception of the situation.

If you like story games that throw you off the deep end and make you think about what actions and steps you've taken....
PLAY THIS GAME
