For those new to the Witcher series:
Gameplay feels like Hogwarts Legacy, but without the quality of life upgrades that come with a more modern game. Continuing the comparison... the dialogue/NPCs are more focused (read as: better), the combat system is a spiritual predecessor, and the side quests feel just as meaningless.

All that to say... if you enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy for reasons beyond the IP/genre, and the male-gaze ingrained in the Witcher is not a turn-off, you will definitely enjoy this game.

For those who played the Witcher 1:
I found the Witcher 1 to be incredibly painful and tedious, and it is a miracle I completed it. I am ignoring the blatantly lazy, time-wasting side quests in the Witcher 2, and enjoying the game all the more for it.

Just wait for the remake...

I have nearly 150hrs in F1 2021 and haven't played a racing sim since. Virtually zero background in sim racing, and I use an Xbox controller to play. I would definitely describe myself as a casual player, although I play with all the assists turned off.

I can't speak for the realism of this game, and I'm not even sure yet if I care.

All I can say, 5 hours in, is that it feels like assists are still turned on. I have smashed the gas while still trying to turn the car around, and have encountered zero issues with spinning out--same cannot be said for F1 21.

Driving is way too easy, and to be honest...i'm enjoying it. I'm spending more time feeling like a badass flowing through high speed corners and less time frustrated that my race was ruined because of traction control sensitivity.

Whether or not this is a good change is not for me to say. I'm enjoying it, and right now that is all that matters.
