It's very evidently early access, but:

Pros:
- Extremely beautiful
- Solid gameplay loop
- Very addicting

Cons (forgivable since VERY early access:
- Combat balance, archers shoot nerf darts (apparently overnerfed since streamer access)
- Unfinished UI elements
- AI aggression seems a tad strong, even on medium difficulties, the Baron will come at you with five armies in year two when you barely have a militia up, on hard mode it's literally impossible since you don't even have the economy to buy spears and shields to outfit a militia

Amazing mindscrew of a game.

It's important to remember that killers and survivors you're playing against are other people. Be nice.

Has and always will be a better PUBG.

Pros:

- The new split tech trees and districts system work out great, definitely an improvement to the last game

- Graphics and Day/Night Cycle are amazing in it's cartoonish way

- Sean Bean (not dying)

- All the DLC in Civ 5 without having to pay an extra $60

- Can play on below average PCs

- Strategy View actually looks good

- Barbarians feel "smarter" (I think they actually are smarter)

- Music: 100x better than the other Civ games, which already have great music (The title screen music give you the chills)

Cons:

- The UI is slightly unintuitive

- Escort Formation sometimes bugs out, support units and great people on different tiles

- Lack of multiplayer setup tools at the time of writing (Hoping that's going to get fixed soon)

- Ghandi and his damn nukes

"Alternate History Award" is sort of a given here.
