It has the potential to be a great game, the graphics are beautiful, but the maps are absurdly small, and makes the game feel very crowded and small in scale.
The options are very limited, the games are way to rushed and short even on the marathon and epic pacing modes,
the idea is build a Civilisation to stand the test of time, not be rushed through an entire game in 5 hours.
The ages are an interesting idea, just poorly executed, they suddenly come to an end with very little info as to how they are progressed and they wipe out any planning you were doing, also no option to just continue a game if you meet one of the win conditions.
