I don't know why, but The Witcher games always have a way of sneaking up on me. I've waited this game for maybe a year now, and still I'm surprised how much I like it. Maybe that's it, it achieved to live up to my expectation in a sea of aAa games that do not.

The atmosphere is moody and consistent, the writing is superb, the voice acting is stellar. The fighting system is as deep and complex as the player want's it to be. The quests don't seem like filler.

On the minus side, it will take a lot of your time if you plan to finish it, not to mention if you plan to finish it in its entirety.

Well it seems that I've clocked 25 hours on this little game. I keep coming back to it even though I have decided to quit on it many times due to frustration. The difficulty level can be nerve wrecking but when you are victorious you know you've accomplished something.

The game is simpple to learn but hard to master. Suprisingly, every ship and upgrade you aquire behaves differently, and you have to be able to evolve if you want to win. One would hope that every game had such depth to them.

For such a simple game 25 hours seems a lot, and yet I know that I will play it at least few (or many) hours more. Heartly recommend it to everybody.
