gameplay is weak but the visuals can be astounding

Really great mod, if I played this and known nothing about this being a mod I would have believed it was a DLC, much like the episodes to Half-Life 2. The production is top-notch and the test chambers are freakishly hard at times, but not too hard to where I resort to youtube tutorials every chamber (cough cough... Port Reloaded). Would definitely recommend this to Portal fans who enjoy the puzzles and lore, and until Valve says otherwise, I'll accept this as canon. 9/10

Its neat.

Very great recreation of the first Half-Life, and I would give it an 8/10. My only complaint is that the gun fights against the army can be the most infuriating ♥♥♥♥ and only slow you down from moving on in the game.


Edit from me two years into the future: I was a ♥♥♥♥♥ back then, the gunfights are fun now
