new mode is ass. Zero balance. Killer can throw you across the map on hooks, break pallets from 10 yards away. Annoying voice in game. Avoid

Fantastic game, lots of fun
But can't play it because devs are stupid and couldn't figure out how to allocate enough server capacity
So how great is a game that keeps you waiting for hours with errors?
Not too good at all. In fact, i want a refund
Update:
Lol, psn account. I knew it. deal with the devil, get screwed

Best pokemon game to come out in years. If you ever wondered what ark and pokemon's child would look like, this is it.

Cool idea, but bad implementation. This is like a base stellaris game without the ability to edit empires, locked to a stringent main story quest line which is very very difficult to unlock in the order in which it expects you to. The tech tree seems neutered. space stations don't seem to do much other than shipyards. spying is so broken. governor ships do a tiny bit. Can't power up heroes like in stellaris. The borg storyline quests is insane. If you fail the janeway quests you die. Unlimited borg cubes attack without stop.

I'd vote neutral at this current point in time if possible but it's not. Lets go over the pros/cons.
Pros:
Space game!
Not expansive but Large area to explore
Quests/side quests galore
Cons:
Bad voice and character animations
Tons of bugs: NPCs floating in the air, falling through floors
You spend more time on loading screens traveling through the galaxy and doing quests than anything else. Why is there an SSD requirement with practically no loading on the fly?
Co2/weight/running/walking issues. There's so much junk in this game yet you can't carry hardly anything. Makes looting and selling cumbersome. You can't run 10 feet without running out of stamina. standard walking feels like crawling.
Skills hide everything else in the game. ex: you can't mine certain minerals that are required to build stuff until you put 3-4 points into the geology skill. So you can't utilize base building/mods/etc until stacking tons of levels.
Want to build a spaceship of your dreams? Lots of bugs in that system. Not only are you limited by brick like habs, but the game reroutes the internal path between components. Is there really no path from the cockpit to the hangar? Doesn't seem like it. You get around this by deleting and re-adding the component. Is that shapeship too long? too bad, it doesn't allow it.
No maps to any available city. 2300s took a step back to things we enjoy today. no ground transport, you have to walk.
Main plot line is basically a rip off of no man's sky. Space combat is just who has more shields and weapons. down them before they swarm you. There's practically no dodging, no counter measure to missiles. lasers have the same travel time as ballistic weapons.
In person combat is worse than any mass effect game. think fallout 4 with some zero g stuff. most "hard" enemies are bullet sponges. No taking cover. enemies will glitch out constantly and become super bullet soakers where your weapons do very little damage to them.
Lots of sneaking missions. Missions that will be ruined by your companion running out and exposing himself.
Lets talk about this "nasa" aesthetic when it comes to the ship interiors. It makes no sense. There's gravity on all the ships, yet cargo is still stored strapped to the surface of the bulk heads. There are grav drives which allow for instantaneous warping yet all the ships seem to store supplies meant for months in space. There's about 50 systems which have stuff in it and they're all relatively close. There's no real exploring, there's no finding anything new and exciting. Fuel seems to be restored instantly for free whenever you land. You can't even fly your ship outside of predefined areas. It's nothing like elite dangerous where you can find breathtaking sites and snap pictures. There's no evas outside the ship. Landing is a load/cutscene.
Basically this is a space RPG where there's no experience of actually being in space. Even though this is in the future by 300 years, the controls in the cockpit are switches and minimal information while on advanced planets there's holograms and massive screens. All the space stations look like overgrown mirs or iss without the solar panels. 300 years later and no one has figured out how to advance any space building. 300 years later they're still using ladders to move through a space ship.
Then there's the bounty system. To understand this, you need to know that the UC hates the cowboys. So there's different bounties on each side. But if you get a bounty by the cowboys, they will attack you on sight. Even if they're in UC space. What happens when they fire on you first and you dare to defend yourself against their aggression in UC space? The UC turns red and fights you. It's so badly designed that whoever allowed this system to go to release needs to be fired.
There's large cargo ships, there's no change of being a cargo pilot because there's no economy as all the places you can sell cargo to "are required by law to have the same prices". What? lol. Then they artificially limit the amount of goods you can sell by giving vendors credit limits that are reset per in game day. Then how do these ships make any money buying and selling goods? They can't. There is some in game missions to deliver stuff but it's not the same as trade routes. There's also no real fun since it's just a load screen to take something to somewhere else if you've been there already.
There's no asteroids, no real space mining. Instead of making space more realistic, they created 15 different types of sandwiches.
Ohh, did i mention this game has a problem with ammo? Yeah, it's scarce like in resident evil. You'll be swapping guns constantly because you're running out constantly. I guess too much sandwiches and not enough ammo in the game. Enemies get unlimited ammo, but when you kill them they have only one mag.

credentials invalid / 10
Update: Finally much better. no more credential errors. Sometimes lag out and get kicked suspiciously after a victim dies, but whatever
Update: Server stability is ♥♥♥♥. People are either crashing this game when they die or something is whacky.
Hackers/cheaters all over. Like people teleporting? Wonderful.
Matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥. Want to play victims? Only for the first game. Otherwise you'll constantly be swapping however the game feels like it.
This game forces you to play characters to level up skills. Want to find out how fun it is to pick a popular character to play? Just keep on lobby surfing spending the majority of your game play trying to play the character of your choice. You're also really limited to the characters you have enough points to max out. Otherwise you're chances of winning is greatly diminished.
Update:
Supplied credentials invalid is back in business baby! Adding old fixed bugs back into the game, can't get better than this
