Honestly this game is so fun and the fact that it's free is amazing! I see people saying the monetization is predatory or bad but its just cosmetics and they're decently priced! There's no FOMO either cause the cosmetics are always available for sale unlike other games that run limited time cosmetics or cycle them out in shops. The dev team also works very hard and does their best to make this game better for us. They listen to actual feedback and give us things based on that feedback (including romance characters and change to loot).

This is easily one of my favorite games, across all the platforms I've owned it on I have accumulated 2500+ hours. I've dragged so many friends into playing it with me leading to them putting a ton of hours into the game as well. Concerned Ape is a brilliant dev and he's always done his best to deal with any bugs or other issues. 15/10 game and 50/10 developer!
