I'm sad that I waited until 2024 to play this game. I like terminator movies, not a die-hard fan, but I am of this now.

The singleplayer content is 20ish hours of copy and paste. All the areas look and play exactly the same with the same exact 3-4 enemies used over and over again. Sometimes they change the colors of those 3-4 enemies but otherwise, it's the same exact deal.

Could barely force myself to finish it. The first 10 minutes felt the exact same as hour 20.

I absolutely love this game and series in general. The maps are large and they can be approached any way you wish. Sometimes I discover a whole new section because I changed the way I entered an area.

I love that I can go full stealth or full loud and the game just adapts to those wants. I have almost 80 hours on PC and another 50 or so on PS4. I can't wait for Sniper Elite 5!

No permits? No problem. You own a demolition company that takes cash under the table for illegal demo jobs. Does your neighbor have a horrible looking barn out back? Under the cover of darkness this company can remove that for you. Is there a really tall national landmark blocking what could be your perfect view of the ocean? Yup, go knock that sucker down. Did your co-worker get incriminating evidence of your affair and then store that evidence in their 700lb safe? Use the vehicles, tools, and bodies of water around you to destroy that evidence.

What a great premise that was almost immediately ruined. You do 3 or so jobs like this then the game turns into a parkour simulator. It's like the developers got bored and decided to make a completely different game during development.

Suddenly, every single thing you need to demo/steal has an alarm attached to it. This alarm cannot be removed, disabled, extended, or otherwise avoided.

Once triggered, you have 60 seconds to steal/destroy all the other objectives on the map before the police show up and the 'game' is now trying to figure out the fastest parkour route to take to make that all happen.

What a damn shame.

For the first 5 minutes or so this is the most chill game.

10 minutes in you will be screaming STOP BREEDING YOU FOOLS.

I wish there was a "meh" review score instead of yes or no but I'll have to lean twords no.

The biggest issue with this game is the entire lack of ammo. You will constantly be looking at the corners of every room trying to find anything, just ANYTHING to use. This is doom, you should have a tornado of gibs just flying at your face as you tear through the enemies around you but instead you are told to use a QTE chainsaw that runs out of gas after 2 kills and you are back to looking around for rocks to throw instead.

Where is the bloody ammo? You will find yourself shooting enemies in the feet to stagger them in hopes of getting some bullets instead of in the face like you should.

Also the chainsaw can only be used when the game decides to let you. You are not free to rip and tear as you see fit.

I just finished this game and I can say if you like the third one you will probably like this one. My only complaint is the lack of C4. Sometimes you are faced with a tank or something and you *could* shoot it with 900 bullets to blow it up but I find the easiest way to deal with them is to grapple them, climb in them (ejecting the driver), and just getting back out again. The AI are not smart enough to get in a empty vehicle so...that's a dead tank. Just wish we had C4 to deal with the bigger vehicles and it feels a little naked without it.

The gameplay is solid but lord help me it wont ever shut up.

I have almost 2 hours of recorded play time and 3/4's of that time was watching unskippable cutscenes that only exist to build up a very tired trope.

Fantastic. I wish there were some uncharted stealth moments so you can take out groups one by one but other than that, more please!
