The game is one of a kind, with tank battles, airplane battles and naval battles all in the same game, with realistic damage models. However, the in game economy and lack of attention to detail of in-plane cockpits is horrible.

If you like Mudrunner and/or Spintires, it's a no-brainer to get this game.

Although the terrain-physics are more simple than the first games, the sheer amount of stuff to do makes the old games in the series feel like demo's.

Now, I've tried to get this game to work with two of my friends, and we can NOT get it to work. At all. We've tried resettings our Router setting, as well as going as far, as to call our ISPs.

But to no avail. Ubisoft is of course more inclined to make 5 dollar DLC hats than making their game playable for people who life >6 km away from eachother. I feel raped. Never buying from France again.

It took me 3 hours to make it run. Here are some tips from me if you want to run the game on a "modern" (post-2008) computer:

1. Next to nobody plays online, so you don't need a Social Club login, just choose the "LaunchGTAIV.exe" from the games files.

2. If you are missing some sort of .dll file, you'll NEED Games For Windows Live (GFWL) You also need GFWL to save your campaign. Just make a local account (Find a Youtube video), you don't even need an e-mail for a offline account.

3. Your computer probably is newer than this game, you'll need to put a -norestrictions in the .exe (search on reddit/forums/Youtube) unless you wan't to run GTA IV at 800x600 at the lowest on your new GTX 1080/RX 480 or whatever flagship you're running.

That's pretty much it. If this seems a bit cluttered, then just look up some guides online. Steam may say I have little to no time in GTA IV, but with the "LaunchGTAIV.exe" fix, Steam doesn't know that the game is running,.

Also, DON'T make a Steam shortcut with the LaunchGTAIV.exe launcher. It can make some glitchy results (i.e. Niko/NPCs/everthing is invisible, eveything looks like a PS2 game etc.)

Great fun, but gets repetitive quickly, but the story telling part of the game is pretty unique.

It's a 7/10, feels a bit shallow, but the way the story is told, holds up the bad parts of the game.

It's a good game. It's NOT a good Rainbow Six game, but it's still a fun game.
