Listen, it’s honestly really good, maybe even a 10/10 for me, right up until the last episode. I’m one of the lucky ones who doesn’t mind the forced romance or the fact that most choices only change how you interact with characters rather than the overall story.

I don’t even mind paying 30 bucks for a story I can shape a little to my liking. But then, for some reason, the game suddenly turns into the most predictable, cliché nonsense ever, and it completely ruined the story for me. I don’t care if I don’t get true branching narrative paths, if the story itself is great, I’m fine with it. But they clearly lead you to believe that your choices matter early on. They set up something nuanced, something that feels different and unpredictable.

And then the last episode, especially the final part, just throws all of that out the window. It’s such a joke that it breaks the immersion entirely, almost like an “everything was just a dream” moment. By the end, it feels like the game doesn’t even take itself, its characters, or its world seriously anymore.. Even in fiction, even with fictional logic, the game teaches you that characters can die in subtle ways and that their deaths have real weight. Choices should matter, that’s the whole point of the game. But nope.

The only reason I don’t recommend it is because I actually value good writing, and I’m just disappointed. It’s some Game of Thrones–type falloff, and honestly, Game of Thrones wasn’t even that good, but this at least seemed to be refreshing change.

Stoner Review: Game is really good and nice brainless fun when being sober. So perfect couch game after a hard day :)

Better than the base game ye performance isn't optimized but still hella good and not that hard.

It's way better than 1 and 1 was game of the year. Also MC is a hottie and Aphrodite bruh. I wasn't sure about 1 being the best Roguelike but 2 definitely is.
